Dear Ms. Chen L., Xin chao, and thank you for choosing La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery Collection, and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay with your mother. We read every word carefully and would like to address each point you raised. On the bath amenities: our toiletries are provided in smaller bottles as part of the resort's sustainability commitment, helping us reduce unnecessary plastic and product waste. Additional amenities are always available at any time during your stay, simply by letting our housekeeping team or reception know. We're sorry this wasn't made clear to you, and we will reinforce it with our team, so every guest is aware of the check-in onward. On finding your way around: La Veranda is designed in the spirit of a 1920s French colonial estate, with garden pathways winding between villas rather than a single straight corridor. We provide a property map at check-in for this reason and are always happy to arrange for a team member to personally guide you to any destination during your stay. On breakfast hours: service runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays, and until 11:00 AM on weekends, which we consider ample time to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace. If you know in advance that a later seating would suit you better, please let our team know we're glad to accommodate such requests wherever possible. On your departure: an airport transfer was arranged for you the day before, timed to give a comfortable buffer ahead of your international flight. We fully respected your decision to arrange your own transportation instead. As you arrived at the lobby later that morning, this left a narrower window before your flight. Our front desk team explained that a brief room inspection required for every departing guest, to confirm that no personal belongings are left behind would take about five minutes, and kindly asked if you could wait. We understand this added to the stress of an already tight morning, and we're sorry for that. At the same time, this inspection is a standard part of our check-out procedure for all guests without exception, and it is not something we are able to waive, as it protects both our guests and our property. On the bedding: our bed height reflects the resort's colonial-style furniture design, and we're sorry this made getting in and out of bed difficult for you. Regarding the concern about mites, we would like to assure you that our housekeeping team follows a strict inspection and laundering protocol for every departing room, and we did not receive any similar reports from other guests in the same room, or elsewhere on the property, during this period. We take hygiene very seriously, and should this concern arise again on a future stay, we would welcome the opportunity to have our housekeeping team investigate further. On the soap: hand soap is stationed at the basin in every bathroom for guest use, and we're sorry this may not have been noticed during your stay. Separately, the soft, slippery texture of the liquid soap on contact with water is simply a characteristic of the product itself, rather than a fault with the dispenser. We recognize that every guest arrives with their own expectations shaped by past experiences, and we respect that La Veranda may not have matched all of yours on this occasion.
