An oasis in a dirty and chaotic environment. Absolutely wonderful hotel. A jungle like garden, a fantastic breakfast, very well kept rooms, turn-down service, great restaurants and a very friendly staff makes this place so unique. The beach is kept very clean. Unfortunately this can not be said of the beaches to the right or left. We did not like Phu Quoc very much. It really suffers from over-tourism, but this hotel made our trip to the island worthwhile. They even surprise you with a farewell drink!

We had the opportunity to stay over New Year, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, character of the hotel along with the warmth of the people instantly switched our mood. Loved the daily activities such as rum and wine tastings, the afternoon teas, and the themed buffet nights. The New Year’s gala dinner was exceptional easily the best food and entertainment we’ve ever enjoyed for a New Year celebration. The staff truly make this hotel special they deserve the highest praise. A special mention to Sam for being outstanding. ~Leaving was incredibly difficult we didn’t want to go and can’t wait to return.

AMAZING!!! This hotel has everything - fantastic location, incredible staff, great restaurants (Peppertree more on the expensive side), beautiful pool and gardens! We felt completely relaxed from the minute we arrived! Our only complaint would be the rooms which are very dated and are in desperate need of renovation! I know the hotel is 'quaint' and 'colonial' but this style can be expressed in a more up to date fashion, particularly in the bathrooms! The staff are exceptionable and a special mention to Sam who has to be the best GM we have ever encountered, thank you!

Проживали в этом отеле сутки, отмечали Новый 2026 год с мужем. Новогодний ужин был тематический — в стиле «Цирк». Атмосфера полностью соответствовала заявленной концепции: всё продумано, красиво и необычно. Ужин проходил на берегу моря, впечатления остались очень приятные. Территория отеля небольшая, ухоженная, буквально утопает в зелени тропических растений, ходить по дорожкам одно удовольствие. Из нюансов: есть москиты. Для меня это важно, так как укусы для меня критичны. В номерах постоянно работают сильные ароматизаторы с запахом лимонграса — вероятно, именно для отпугивания насекомых. Запах довольно интенсивный, это стоит учитывать (мне даже стало плохо от сильного аромата). При заселении нас встретили достойно, с комплиментом в виде десерта — было приятно. Бассейн, к сожалению, показался не очень чистым и достаточно старым. В целом отель оставил хорошее впечатление. Уютная атмосфера, красивая территория и приятные детали сервиса. Оценка — уверенные 4 звезды, не выше.

This was my second stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc, returning one year after my first visit, and it was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. Everything about this place works in perfect harmony — from the stunning, beautiful beach and lush tropical greenery to the calm, elegant atmosphere of the resort itself. The food is consistently excellent, well prepared and full of flavour, and the staff once again stand out as genuinely warm, attentive and professional. The location is ideal, offering both peace and easy access to the rest of the island. It’s rare for a place to live up to expectations on a second visit — La Veranda absolutely does. This is definitely a keeper.
