This was my second stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc, returning one year after my first visit, and it was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. Everything about this place works in perfect harmony — from the stunning, beautiful beach and lush tropical greenery to the calm, elegant atmosphere of the resort itself. The food is consistently excellent, well prepared and full of flavour, and the staff once again stand out as genuinely warm, attentive and professional. The location is ideal, offering both peace and easy access to the rest of the island. It’s rare for a place to live up to expectations on a second visit — La Veranda absolutely does. This is definitely a keeper.

Вроде все хорошо, кроме нескольких моментов, которые 10 превратили в 7. И так: 1. Заселили ни на секунду раньше. Ровно в 14.00. Такие правила. Не так ли. Ну раз все по правилам тогда все должно быть по правилам. От сюды вытекает вторая притензия. 2. Забронирован был номер с одной больший кроватью. На ресепшене извинились, но уведомили что будет с двумя кроватями:))) сущая дичь по-моему:))) скотство просто! 3. Обслуживание на пляже: заказываешь одно, второе, третье. Приносят все кроме третьего. Сообщаешь что нужно третье. Приносят. Но счет на два третьих в итоге. При выселении на ресепшене, долго пришлось объяснять. Я так и не понял, поняли они меня или нет. Но сказали что поняли, но итоговый счет не поменялся. Короче баксов на 100 мне кажется что надули меня. Впечатления так себе из за этого.

With respect to the bed configuration, as explained at the time of check-in, the reservation we received from your travel agent indicated a twin-bedded room. Upon your request, our team arranged to join the two beds, which also required additional preparation time before the room could be released. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are truly sorry for the service lapse you experienced at the beach and for the concerns raised regarding your billing. Please be assured that your comments have been taken seriously and reviewed with the relevant teams. In such situations, we also acknowledge that misunderstandings can occasionally arise due to language differences, which may have contributed to the confusion experienced. Positives - great location, superb private beach, staff very helpful and lovely grounds plus we enjoyed the various free reception events and drinks etc. However the rooms are very dated and a bit shabby in parts. Bathrooms really need updating. Rooms do not justify the price we paid.

It was the 2nd time in this hotel and again, it was a great experience. The hotel is a cosy place, the main building is an ancient house from last century. The staff is amazing, super friendly, always looking to provide value and a good experience for the guests. Rooms are good, we had a balcony, food is good, great breakfast! What is a nice benefit: there are specific little events, such as cooking class, wine tasting, yoga etc. , good opportunity to meet and have a chat with other guests. There is a private beach, as well with a super friendly service.
