"You feel like you're staying with friends," one guest told us at the beginning of our stay at the wonderful La Veranda resort. And he wasn't exaggerating. The stay at this resort, set in a tropical garden with a fantastic private beach, was dominated by the incredible friendliness of the people. Whether at the front desk, in one of the two restaurants, or on the beach, our every need was always met with a friendly smile. I would also like to highlight the two charming ladies in the spa area, which has quite rightly been described as "world-class" in previous reviews. We felt absolutely at home; it was a fantastic time at La Veranda.

We had such a magical stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery Collection. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—always warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality really stood out and made our stay extra special. The resort itself is stunning—a beautiful French colonial-style villa tucked away in a lush tropical garden, just steps from a private stretch of beach. The pool area is so peaceful, surrounded by palm trees and greenery, and the ocean breeze just adds to the charm. Our villa was spacious and elegant, with everything we needed to feel right at home. We also treated ourselves to a luxurious spa session that left us totally relaxed. With two amazing restaurants on site, we had everything from fresh seafood to beautifully plated desserts without ever needing to leave the property. This place truly feels like a peaceful escape, and we’re already dreaming about coming back.

We spent 5 wonderful days in this hotel. Everything about the resort was great, staff exceptional, all food of a very high standard, rooms, location on beach and facilities perfect. We would highly recommend staying here .. we were sad to leave!

Very good and beautiful hotel at the beach. We had a nice room with a garden including a good bed, shower, breakfast and mostly enjoyed the yoga classes and massage of Patrick Gaveau, which are special and different from what we know in western countries.

It’s everything previous reviewers have said in terms of service. Very very good. Sam is a treasure, genuinely warm and interested in all his guests. Excellent quality, supremely clean. A lovely oasis right on the beach and tucked away from the main strip, yet within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars if that’s what you’re seeking. We were happy just staying in the resort for some much needed R&R after a long tour. It’s perfect for that. Happy Hour for cocktails at sunset is delightful and there is low key music entertainment in the evenings. A traditional, colonial style building with two fine restaurants. Breakfast buffet is one of the best we’ve experienced in a month of travel across Vietnam. The beach is quite small and not quite the white powdered sand we expected but with clean, good quality furniture, and superior to neighbouring properties we glimpsed on our walk. The hotel has an interesting history and we were surprised to see the owner herself visiting during our stay. Well run, relaxing vibe.
