Basic but ideal for Fratton park

Cheap and cheerful book well in advance and the rooms are a good stop over if you are going to the the games at Fratton park. Otherwise don't bother rooms are small no A/c locks on windows to limit opening. Each room has a double and a bunk bed above which is for the fit and athletic only!! shower is in the room so no privacy Great to watch Portsmouth FC but otherwise not much about in the area

The room was bigger than we were expecting and pretty well laid out, separate shower and WC was a good idea. Also no issues parking, though there were few places at the hotel itself parking was free in the nearby car parks and only a very short walk away. Unfortunately the room was very noisy, the main culprit apparently being the plumbing, when someone flushed a toilet above us it sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. Also could not get any channels on the TV, was offered to change the room but we were only staying another day. No tea & coffee in the room.

Cheap, clean and very cheerful. The room was neat and clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay (except no kettle which was easily obtained from reception with tea, milk and coffee purchased at the Tescos 100 yards away). The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall it provided exactly what we needed, a bed, a loo and a shower in a lean comfortable room a very reasonable price. Special mention for Tina on reception who proved an absolute star throughout. An invaluable source of local information and exceptionally helpful and friendly. Ibis are very lucky to have her.

If you want the smallest room for the largest price, look no further…. You couldn’t swing a rat, never mind a cat in it. TV channels were non existent couldn’t even get ITV. Car park details EV points, only 1 out of 4 working! Won’t be staying in this Rip off place again

We have stayed here many times as family live in Portsmouth. We hadn't been for a few years. Rooms are needing updating now looking very budget now. Other areas of hotel nice. Staff lovely. Tesco next door, McDonald's and KFC opposite as well as shops like Aldi.
