Disappointing Stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, although the staff’s performance is average. Specifically, the duty manager, Tanya, fell short of expectations and demonstrated a lack of focus on guest satisfaction. I strongly recommend further training to focus more on customers needs and expectations.

Fawlty Towers designed this hotel - don't stay here if you want wifi or mobile charging points!

The staff were nice but the hotel room was designed by Fawlty Towers! There are also no phone charging points at all! In 2024! The wifi was appalling. It kept going off and on and when it was on it kept dropping and wasn't fit for purpose. The bed had a duvet on which did not fit the duvet cover and no one had noticed! Several times they tried to tell me that this was normal! Then they blamed the laundry people for doing this! Just common sense bypass going on here! How can a four star hotel give a customer a duvet with a duvet cover that is too small for it? The desk had a chair that was too low for it to be able to use the desk properly!' They had to find me a conference chair with cushions so that I could reach the desk! Bizarre design! The sink was so badly designed that it could not be used to fill up either the kettle or the water bottle they gave me without spilling out all the water from them! It was a joke! I had to use the small glass that they gave us to fill up with water and then pour the water into the kettle to be able to use it! On my 3rd day they didn’t even bother to clean my room! I left at midday and came back at 11pm and the room had not been touched, this despite the fact that I did not have the don’t disturb sign on. Shocking for a hotel of this nature not to clean your room! I had to call up to get some coffee granules for the morning but clearly no one had tried to clean the room. What kind of SOP allows that? It’s like a hotel room from the 1990s! Fawlty Towers designed, don't stay here! Bailey was fantastic as introduced me to Michael who saved me a load of money in taxi fares to and from the airport. Great location for the concert which is why I am here but I wouldn’t stay here again, it’s a shambles.

This is certainly not indicative of our usual standards, and I will personally look into the breakdown in our housekeeping procedures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. A mid standard hotel located close to our conference facilities. Check-in and other formalities good, breakfast I would rate quite high but the bed, my goodness. Each night the bed was short sheeted. Despite my complaint to housekeeping every night was the same. I had to pull everything out from the end of the bed to get under the sheet and doona. and despite having a king room, it was 2 single beds pushed together, so I had a ridge running down the centre, most uncomfortable. Other conference attendees also complained of the same issues...

Echt een tophotel, 5 sterren meer dan waard. Kan niks negatiefs bedenken over dit hotel. Comfortabele schone kamers van alle gemakken voorzien, personeel is supervriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam. Ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en vers, echt heerlijk ontbeten! De ligging is wellicht wat ongunstig als je de stad wilt zien, maar door het treinstation op nog geen 5 min loopafstand van waar iedere 10 min een trein gaat, ben je alsnog zo in het centrum.

Hotel is echt heerlijk. Biedt alle faciliteiten voor leisure en zaken. De omgeving is een beetje dood. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en staat altijd ready to help. De housekeeping snapt in onze optiek nog niet helemaal what Do Not disturb means..
