I have nothing but compliments for the staff at Ibis Ambassador Korea. I stay here every year when I visit Korea, and this trip was no exception — once again, it was a wonderful experience. All the staff welcome guests with genuine warmth and happiness, which always makes me feel at home. I’d especially like to mention Mr Jacob and Ms Erin, who were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I even saw Ms Erin recommending great local food spots to another guest, which really showed how much the team cares about helping guests enjoy their stay beyond just the hotel. During this trip, I hung the DND sign almost every day as I wanted to fully rest. Even on days when I declined housekeeping, the team thoughtfully hung a bag of bottled water outside my door for replenishment. That small but meaningful gesture truly stood out. It’s these thoughtful details and consistently excellent service that keep me coming back year after year. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely continue staying here on my future visits to Korea.

Great great location and decent value hotel

Very good location. You are literally within walking distance to the heart of Myeongdong shopping area and train stations. Ample food options and dangerous level of shopping options. There are many 24-hour convenient stalls nearby. There are ample money / currency exchange options nearby which means you should get very decent rates. Rooms are of decent size, refreshed and is fairly quiet. On the facilities front, there is a small gym overlooking the heart of Myeongdong. There is laundry facilities - but the are only 2 washer, 2 dryers and the dryer seems to take a fairly long time to get the clothes to dry. There is common microwave available for usage - which is good. Overall, a very decent hotel at a great location.

Great location and clean hotel

We stayed at ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong and had a very comfortable experience overall. The hotel feels clean and well maintained from the moment you enter, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh and tidy throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights is the location — it’s right in the heart of Myeongdong, which made it incredibly easy to step out for shopping, cafés, and street food at any time of day. It was also convenient for getting around the city, with public transportation and key areas within easy reach. 7/11 and CU are 2 mins away. Another pleasant surprise was the queen room size. For Seoul standards, our room felt spacious and thoughtfully laid out, so we never felt cramped even with luggage. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having enough space to move around, relax, and unpack properly. After long days of walking and sightseeing, it was nice coming back to a quiet, clean room in such a central area. If you’re looking for a reliable hotel with a great base in Seoul, ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong is a solid choice. It offers excellent value for its location, and we would happily stay here again on a future trip.

Good location, can take airport shuttle bus just in front of the hotel and near subway. Near to lotte department store and duty free
