Very good location. You are literally within walking distance to the heart of Myeongdong shopping area and train stations. Ample food options and dangerous level of shopping options. There are many 24-hour convenient stalls nearby. There are ample money / currency exchange options nearby which means you should get very decent rates. Rooms are of decent size, refreshed and is fairly quiet. On the facilities front, there is a small gym overlooking the heart of Myeongdong. There is laundry facilities - but the are only 2 washer, 2 dryers and the dryer seems to take a fairly long time to get the clothes to dry. There is common microwave available for usage - which is good. Overall, a very decent hotel at a great location.

Great location and clean hotel

We stayed at ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong and had a very comfortable experience overall. The hotel feels clean and well maintained from the moment you enter, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh and tidy throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights is the location — it’s right in the heart of Myeongdong, which made it incredibly easy to step out for shopping, cafés, and street food at any time of day. It was also convenient for getting around the city, with public transportation and key areas within easy reach. 7/11 and CU are 2 mins away. Another pleasant surprise was the queen room size. For Seoul standards, our room felt spacious and thoughtfully laid out, so we never felt cramped even with luggage. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having enough space to move around, relax, and unpack properly. After long days of walking and sightseeing, it was nice coming back to a quiet, clean room in such a central area. If you’re looking for a reliable hotel with a great base in Seoul, ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong is a solid choice. It offers excellent value for its location, and we would happily stay here again on a future trip.

Good location, can take airport shuttle bus just in front of the hotel and near subway. Near to lotte department store and duty free
