Although the room was clean the corridor smelt like a dog kennel. The staff were friendly and helpful and it wasn’t a bad price for somewhere to crash out after a cycle around New Forest.

Price paid for what we got was expensive, beeping contest in the McDonald's carpark at midnight was also a highlight,not the fault of the hotel

This was an adequate place to spend one night, but I wouldn't want my stay to be any longer. The light above the sink was either burned out or not working, and I reported this to the front desk. There was no follow up with me. Also, the only outlet for a hair dryer was as far away from the mirror as it could be, which reflected poor planning. Last, my room was on the second floor and the 2 button in the lift took at least 10 tries for it to light up. I went right by floor 2 several times, because of this. Rather a frustrating experience!
