Poor accommodation, nice surroundings.

Unfortunately, the accommodation is very old and quite dated, and it’s in serious need of refurbishment. The overall condition reflects years of wear and neglect — there are holes in the doors, broken or non-functioning soap dispensers, and an unappealing brown décor that feels straight out of the 1990s. It’s a real shame, as the setting itself is beautiful and the surrounding golf course is exceptionally well maintained. With some much-needed updates and attention to detail, the accommodation could really complement its lovely surroundings.

The original “tight ar**” property. NOTHING for Platinum membership not even a bottle of water. No recognition from the hotel. Excuses as to why. Anything we received (upgrade) was provided by “the system” not the hotel. Won’t return.

Enjoyable stay recently. Had a 2 storey 2 bed apartment, nice and roomy with a modern TV. Beds were comfy, 3 bathrooms nice and big. Generally needs a renovation to get back to a new finish. Bar and restaurant was ok but again needs a freshenup. The range stays open under lights, free clubs available so enjoyed hitting some balls with the kids until 8pm while having a beer at the range. Staff were really nice. Buffet breakfast wasn't bad, plenty of options. Shoulder is stuffed so didn't get a chance to play golf this time.

Not a Mercure standard at all. Rooms very old and bathrooms even older. No hotwater in the sink. No drinkingwater in the room, no bathrobe, no slippers, no room service, just brought fresh towels, bed not made, same for golfcourse. Young men were loud, topless on the course and had no etikett or behaviour

Best Breakfast we’ve ever been served. Chef is excellent, friendly and extremely efficient as was the male staff member. Outlook from rooms is beautiful. Unfortunately there was an error with our booking and we had a very long walk from the Disabled Carpark to our room with all the equipment my mother requires. All in all we loved our stay and will visit again.
