The pillow and the bed are the fluffiest I ever had. The service top notch. Convenience to and from the airport, there is foyer between the two so you don’t have to come out from building. The staff name Mustafa and others are friendly and accommodating. Shuttle train to South Airport also nearby.

We had a fabulous stay at the Sofitel Gatwick, which was hugely convenient after a long flight from India. The rooms were brilliant. Clean and spacious, with all amenities required. My daughter and I had breakfast in the morning and Velino was incredibly attentive and kind. His service was first class. Thank you for a great stay.

Much better than I expected. Very clean modern hotel with great bars and restaurants. We had a prestige room that had complimentary minibar, fruit, tea and coffee. Also complimentary use of the 8th floor lounge, drinks and buffet food included Room, bed and bathroom all excellent and very clean. Enclosed tunnel link straight into the north terminal. We were flying from the south terminal and the transit train is right at the end of the link tunnel Highly recommend so convenient for both north and south terminals

Great reception and check in and assistance with our bags especially after the trek from the south terminal. Loved the Club Millesime experience with Alexandra who looked after us very well. Lovely canapes and drink service in the Club Lounge. Great views across the airport for the aircraft spotters.

We have visited Sofitel Gatwick several times before but never written a review. We were greeted by Sophia a lovely young lady who was extraordinarily kind and helpful. So helpful that we “upgraded” (at cost to ourselves) to enjoy the VIP experience with a 7th Floor room overlooking the runway, access to the VIP Lounge with inclusive and unlimited canapés and alcohol together with inclusive breakfast - A Bargain. In the VIP Lounge we were greeted by Alexandra an incredibly cheerful lady for whom nothing was too much trouble throughout the evening with all of the guests in the lounge. Everyone should have a Sophia and an Alexandra. Great experience!
