Poor value with limited services

I think the hotel must be very quiet but I was very disappointed with their service. I had booked a room with access to the Club lounge by this was closed. No alternative was offered and I was still charged for breakfast, which I would have taken in the lounge if it had been open. The suite had a small bathroom with only a shower, which I find unusual for a suite. No bathrobes or face clothes were provided.

During Covid-19 restrictions and limited access to restaurants the hotel offered a good room service, PCR testing and the best bed I've ever slept in! Staff were all so helpful. Unfortunately we had a fire alarm at 3am in the morning which meant being out in the cold for a good 45 minutes but again the staff were as helpful and professional as possible.

We stayed on the 31st of March 2021 for the test and rest at a price of £209. They invoiced me for that amount but I did not get a credit card receipt. When I checked my credit card statement they charged me £309. I have emailed them three times with no response to find out why. I am now overseas so it’s difficult to deal with it

I booked one night as I had an early flight the following morning. Although the hotel was exceptionally quiet due to current lockdown restrictions it never compromised on the overall standard of the hotel. The room was comfortable with all the in room facilities available, breakfast, complimentary tea/coffee, there was even complimentary face mask, sanitizer and wipes. All very much welcome. The check in/out process was pain free and fast.

Immaculate room helpful staff comfortable nights sleep nice breakfast very covid safe. No conditioner in rooms and no pen to complete breakfast list is my only criticism

Called in advance about drop off and food availability times. Was told incorrect information on both accounts meaning I didn’t stop off on my journey to eat and missed evening meal in the hotel as I was told food is available til 2300 (as the website also states) but was told on arrival it was at 2100, I was too late. And the receptionist didn’t care and unhelpful with my situation.

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions with no problems but this time our sleep quality was very poor. The room was so hot and the feather duvet was hot and heavy. Also there was a feather mattress topper which was lumpy and uncomfortable. End result was a maximum of only a few hours of sleep. The bathroom floor was dirty and needed cleaning. Fortunately we ordered breakfast early so we left as soon as we could. We travel as much as we are able but I would definitely think twice before staying again.
