Convenient base for exploring Marseille

We stayed at Ibis Marseille Centre Euroméd for two nights in November. The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from Marseielle St Charles, near les Docks Village and 10 minutes walk to Les Terrasses du Port in a quiet part of Marseille. Check-in was quick and efficient; staff handled our arrival professionally. The room was clean, functional, and comfortable for a short city stay. Bedding was excellent and the layout made good use of the space. A small minus there is not enough towel in the room only one per person. Suggestion would be great to have a face towel. The breakfast offered a excellent selection of hot and cold items, fresh pastry, cheese, orange juice, and got us out the door each morning. For a two-night stay it felt like good value given the location and level of service. Good choice for travelers who want a clean, well-located hotel with friendly service for short stays.

Price was good. But a very hard place to find and nowhere does it tell you parking is in the deck beside

Place was terribly hard to find for some who has not been there before. Also no on site parking. Air conditioning did not work. Very basic room. Quite but would not go back.

Dear Teresa, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not entirely satisfactory. Regarding the air conditioning, our units are indeed reversible. For CSR and energy-efficiency reasons, they are set to a neutral mode during seasonal transitions. However, temperatures dropped significantly last weekend, so we switched the system to heating. We always try to adapt to the outdoor weather as quickly as possible, although it is not always easy. We also regret that the directions and information regarding the parking were not clear enough. We are currently working on improving our signage and communication to make arrivals smoother for our guests. Thank you again for your comments—they help us improve. Merhaba, depozito için girişte verdiğim 100 Euro paramı hala alamadım. Konu hakkında kredi kartımın bankası "İş bankası" ile görüştüm. Herhangi bir para iadesi yapılmamış. Banka, otel ile konuşmam gerektiğini söyledi. Bana iade ödemesi yaptıysanız belgelerini gönderir misiniz. Yapmadıysanız 100 euro iadesini göndermenizi bekliyorum. Konunun çözülmesini talep ediyorum.

Charme of a dark Container box

The room is extremely small and dark, depressing atmosphere. Even though the hotel claims to be newly renovated, the bath is smelly and has black/brown stains in the shower and toilet. The beds are bad as well. Overall, a big disappointment.

Good location, close to the subway, and convenient for seeing the sights of fabulous Marseille. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Rooms small, but clean and perfectly adequate, though rather cheerlessly furnished and decorated. The long corridors, with their low ceilings are very „claustrophobic“.
