We had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Sofitel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were amazingly attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The lounge was great with afternoon tea followed up by canapés and cocktails. Wonderful staff in here and by the second day they remembered our favourite tipples. The quality of food available at the breakfast was top notch. There were a few staff challenges relating to remembering orders etc. but this was probably because it was peak season and they were rushed off of their feet trying to keep everyone happy. One thing I will say about the breakfast is the absence of a barista. For a hotel of this quality I would have expected a barista on hand to create people’s coffee orders. Instead it was produced from coffee machines and was sub standard. As a result we avoided for the remainder of our stay. The White Lotus restaurant was fantastic and the food was lovely. Not such a good experience at the Italian restaurant where we found the food rather bland. Location across from the beach was handy, but you have about a 5 minute walk to get to the shops and restaurants if you want to go outside the hotel. Other than that the area is very peaceful.

Beautiful 5 star resort in Krabi. Wonderful decor, airy and modern with a Thai twist. This is a large luxury property steps away from a peaceful serene beach and a 25 minute drive from the vibrant and busy Ao Nang area.

Lovely staff, calm hotel, lounge was fab and amazing singers in the bar! Fab pool, beach was wonderful too. Not cheap but worth it.
