Wonderful stay at Sofitel Krabi

Our family of five had an amazing two weeks stay in the hotel. The hotel personnel made our stay special. Our four year old loved the kids club and wanted to go there every day. This was especially due to the great employees. All of them were great and we would like to thank them all, but especially we want to thank Anfield for making her days delightful and special. Kids club was recently renovated and it was super fresh and nice. They also had great activities for the kids. We also enjoyed variety of activities provided by the hotel: Weena was a great yoga and padel instructor (yoga was free), Yang provided very good treatments at the Spa, the golf course was nice to play with the kids (although the bunkers were under repair). The pool was huge and had great area for small kids, goals to play water ball and a wibit track for the bigger kids to enjoy. Pool bar served us well with delicious drinks and food. Breakfast was very good, with loads of different options. The only thing we could slightly complain about was that sometimes we needed to wait our coffee orders for long, but the coffee was good and prepared by barista. We had breakfast only selected, but we dined a few times in the hotel's Italian and Asian restaurants. Quality of food was good, but somewhat pricey compared to local restaurants nearby. The hotel also provided nice Christmas events, with Santa Claus visiting, fire show and a disco as well as a princess show which our smallest enjoyed a lot. We also made an island trip with hotel staff (Hong Island, Paradise Island and a third one which name we cannot remember anymore). The trip was well arranged and the boat was comfortable to travel with. All over the hotel area was beautiful, well-functioning and clean. Room was also cleaned well every day. The only minuses - which didn't bothered us too much though - were the room being a bit out dated for a 5 star hotel (especially bathrooms) and beds being hard to sleep on. You could also hear the people talking in the next room, but luckily our neighbors didn't bothered us too much. The beach was beautiful and (nice also for walks and runs) and there are cozy restaurants by the beach serving good food and drinks. To sum up, we can highly recommend the hotel for families looking for activities, relaxation under the sun and delicious food.

We stayed at the Sofitel Krabi Hotel for 10 days. It was amazing! Special thanks to Sky, Sam, Palmy, Na, Bay and Rak at the Poolbar. They are always smiling, joking and being polite and made our holiday unforgetable😊 greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

Lovely colonial style resort in a quiet location

Travelled as family of 4 aduts and 3 kids and stayed for 6 nights in December. We all really enjoyed this hotel and regretted not staying a few days longer although there are still areas for improvement. Pros: 1. Excellent pool with giant inflatable obstacle course for kids 2. Walkable distance to town and other restaurants/bars along the beach 3. Family rooms are a good size + kids loved their bunk beds 4. House keeping and staff in the restaurants + resort are all very good 5. Good breakfast, fresh food + high quality 6. Beautiful colonial style hotel with lots of charm 7. Lots of activities on site such as table tennis and pool Cons: 1. Food + drink prices are quite high, shame as we found ourselves eating out most nights as a result 2. Excursion prices also very high given that you can get similar trips from the local tour agents for a fraction of the price 3. Beach opposite the hotel isn't the best, not ideal having to cross the road to get to it either Tips: 1. I would recommend using the guys offering island tours at the beach crossing. We did the longtail boat trip to Hong island and it was one of the highlights of our holiday 2. Some very good restaurants in town + the 7/11 is walkable distance

We visited the hotel only for the New Year brunch and the experience was excellent. The brunch itself was very well organized, with a great selection and high quality throughout. We also had the opportunity to briefly talk with Chef Pedro. Even though he was clearly very busy, he was extremely attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect and that nothing was missing. His dedication really stood out and added a personal touch to the experience. A wonderful way to celebrate the New Year!
