My room was looking to the parking in the ground floor, access to the the room through the toilets of the bar. They charged me €600 for something nobody will pay more that €40 Ibis ripping off customers because there is a fair in the city. Very bad experience

I was SO worried about staying here, the word budget doesn't strike hope into most people but it was so deceiving. First off it was really clean! Perfect location as it's opposite the bus stop and a short walk from the train station. We went to see Adele and it was prime location for us. You could also walk, which we did from the concert to the hotel. It was so basic, as in more basic than you'd think - two pillows for two people in one bed wasn't enough - I'm sure two more pillows won't break the bank? Also a very thin duvet but preferences differ between people so this might not be an issue for everyone. The duvet was also really small so that didn't suit us. The bed was SUPER comfortable though. There were also only two towels, I mean like the pillows I'm sure one more wouldn't be bad? I'd have liked maybe a kettle and tea stuff but it's not a must. This hotel really is what's advertised! VERY basic, but perfect for us as we went out exploring most of the day. I would stay again"

We have been traveling in a large group and staying in many Ibis Hotel. This Ibis was nicer than we expected with a larger and more private bathroom, as well as good AC. The room was tidy and snug. The hotel feels safe. The front desk attendant was kind and accommodating when we needed an additional towel in our room. The breakfast has many options. If you are there of an evening, or arriving late, be sure to bring your own water or snacks. There is access to drinks other than the vending machines that close at 10:00pm.

Secure low budget option as a base to Munich city centre

The hotel is a no-frills options but with good connection to city centre. If you want to dedicate most of your time exploring Munich, this is a viable option to use as your base. Only one restaurant is near the hotel, but there are other hotels in the vicinity where you can go for an evening drink.

I was travelling, without access to a computer (only iphone) and when I got the confirmation mail asking for on line check-in, the address of the hotel was not in the mail. I knew I had to go to Muchen Ost Messe and looked for the address on Safari, I found the address of the Ibis Suite Munchen Ost Messe. I didn't realise this was another hotel. When I arrived, the hotel was closed. I called the number that was on the door and got no answer.... so, I continued my travel (after more than 1000 km that same day

You have reserved your room in our hotel, the Ibis Budget Munich East Messe. It is not our fault, that you were not able to use your Iphone Mail or Safari. Just to mention beside, there is not exisiting an Ibis Suite Munchen Ost Messe. We prepared everything for your stay last saturday, our team was awaiting your arrival till late at night. You could have taken the opportunity to call our hotel, the phone number, as well as the correct address is in every reservation confirmation. So just to make clear: Our hotel is not closed, even not during the lockdown time. For this reason, your review is not usable for our management team. Kind regards, Sanjeev Wasan
