Hotel is lovely but the staff in the restaurant are so rude and not very accommodating as regards the menu and the barman with the beard was muttering away under his breath when I placed a drinks order I got up and walked out your staff are not even a one star pity because it brings the whole hotel down will never ever stay here again

We stayed for 3 nights to explore Luxembourg City and chose this hotel as had parking package with parking underneath hotel. It's a 20 minute walk to the centre of the city which is fine. It's not on the most pleasant looking street. The area is fine. Reception staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. Room was standard Novotel, decent size, very clean and comfortable. The air con worked well and was easy to use. Breakfast buffet very good, wide choice and good quality, also nicely laid out so not everyone crowing around one small area. One thing for improvement would be info supplied re parking when you book. Its not clear on website and would be useful if they told you which spaces and which end of long car park.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. I stayed there recently with my parents and we were welcomed with the beautiful hotel lobby. We arrived to the city much earlier than expected, but we were still able to check in early without a problem. The rooms are clean and I loved the amenities it came with. The location of the hotel is walkable to the city’s spots. All of the staff were friendly, especially Sofiane who was extremely professional and kind enough to provide me recommendations of where to visit in the city. Even with my minimal knowledge of French, he and the rest of the staff were able to converse in English fluently with us and made our stay stress-free. I highly recommend travelers to stay here!

The perfect trip

First time ever visiting Luxembourg and had the best time! I always try to give a balanced view to hotels so pros and cons below: Pros: - Check in/Check out: the hotel allowed us to check in at 11am even though official check in isn’t until 3pm and they let us keep our room till 5pm for check out with no extra charge - they couldn’t have been more accommodating. - Location - it’s a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre where all the shops and restaurants are. I did this walk at least once a day and it was really easy to navigate. The staff at the hotel were fab at guiding us to where we needed to go and provided a free map. - Room: it was absolutely spotless, a really good size and had everything you needed. It was really quiet at night and we were not woken at all. The cleaners were all lovely and work so hard! One of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in! - Staff: probably the friendliest staff I’ve ever met in a hotel, honestly could not do enough for you - always greeted when we walked through the doors with huge smiles and they made a huge effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Cons: Breakfast: this is genuinely the only slight negative I have. The breakfast was €50 for two persons and I find that hard to justify. There was a lot of choice, although the hot buffet part was slightly cold. Most days we had breakfast at a small cafe 5 mins up the road for €15 for both of us which was lovely. Honestly did have the most amazing break, and would definitely return to this hotel!

I checked in today. The room is not clean. The air conditioning is loud and I was told to switch it off, if I want a quiet room. The reception manager was not willing to give me a better room and said all the rooms are the same! Avoid this hotel if you can!
