Noisiest Hotel I Have Ever Stayed At

Is in a good location, with plenty of family activities around Ancol. However, this hotel was one of the most noisy hotels I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. For some reason, at 5.45 in the morning, the hotel plays the loudest, most obnoxious music around the hotel via speakers outside of the guest rooms. Why the hotel think this is something hotel guests would appreciate is bewildering. Why Mercure, why?! At 5.45am, the majority of guests are still asleep and do NOT appreciate being awoken so abruptly by your Spotify playlist!

Great experience with good hospitality inside by Ibu Suningsih 🤍🤍, the rooms was clean and tidy, friendly staffs, the foods also was great.

This was my 2nd stay at Mercure Conv. Center Ancol (having previously visited just before the pandemic). Overall, it was a good experience, and I truly appreciate the consistently professional, helpful, and friendly service from the staff. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the efforts of both M.O.D.s during my stay. I had an urgent payment to complete and did not realize it could only be processed through a laptop or desktop. Unfortunately, I only had my mobile devices with me. Thankfully, Mr. Henri, the gentleman M.O.D., went out of his way to save the day! What a hero! Special Thanks also to Miss Dwi, who kindly arranged tape and scissors so I could finish a documentation project I was working on. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. The main reason I am giving a score of 8.7 instead of higher is due to the air conditioner in the room. It could not be switched off, only adjusted. Even after speaking with housekeeping and asking for help as the room was too cold, the constant flow of cold air continued. Unfortunately, this resulted in me catching a cold, and more than a week after departing I’m still unwell and coughing a lot. I kindly request that the hotel consider fixing this issue so guests have the option to fully turn off the air conditioner when needed. Of course, this is not the fault of any staff member, but sadly it affected the comfort of my stay. Thank you again for the hospitality, and I hope to return in the future once the AC issue is resolved. Terima kasih banyak!
