I have had the pleasure to stay at the Sofitel Bayernpost in München twice already and I am counting the seconds leading to my next stay there. As soon as you get in this luxurious hotel, you feel at home away from home : from the reception to the spa, on your way to your lavishly appointed bedroom or to the majestic breakfast room appointed for a Kaiser, everyone is unbelievably friendly and professional. Now, I must thank especially Mr Umut Ofkeli for his friendliness and his patience towards (I am must admit I am a chatterbox). He looked after me not only as a client but also as a member of his own family and made me feel at home instantly.He is a remarkable employee, an asset for Accor’s Sofitel Brand. I highly recommend you to stay at the Sofitel Bayernpost and when you do so, please do not forget to say hello to Mr Ofkeli for me! Without a shadow of a doubt, he will make sure that you find your way to Paradise in München!

Great moments we had in Sofitel Munich. Great room, very nice staff and a delicious breakfast. We stayed just 2 days but enjoyed every minute there. Very thanks to Svetlana Mathiash for the hospitality and always welcoming us with a great smile.

We came here for event and everything was unbelievable amazing. The personal is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredibly delicious. Special thanks to Dogukan from front desk that he helped me with everything. I hope to see you soon guys.

Very poor customer support, quality ok but not of a level of 5 stars hotel

Stayed in the hotel for a few days, conditions and food were good but in my opinion not of a 5 stars hotel level. But the worst was my wife left her handbag in the room on check-out, and on same day we contacted the hotel via booking.com and email. We only got response on Monday and they just told us they didn't find the bag. Whereas we are sure the bag was left near the room's window. Given nobody stayed in the room on the day of our check-out (Friday), that means the staff took it or someone staying in the room from Saturday on. For a 5 stars hotel, it was a shame of customer support. So next week we stayed in Le Meridien Munich, paying the same money and a much greater comfort and customer support. If you are looking for a pleasant experience of a level of 5 stars hotel, think twice before booking this one.
