Location and Surroundings You're absolutely right—the construction nearby is beyond our control, and we completely understand how it might affect the overall perception of the area. While we can't influence the ongoing development around us, we hope that the convenience of being so close to the train station and just a short walk from the bustling old town added value to your stay. We're happy to hear that you appreciated the quieter location after navigating the crowded city center. Design Elements Our design pays homage to the building’s history as a former telegraph and post office, which is why you'll find unique elements like typewriters in the rooms. They're meant for use but also to celebrate the royal and historic theme of the property. Similarly, the sofa in the elevator is a playful, unconventional touch that aligns with our royal aesthetic vision. Room Design and Features You mentioned staying in one of our XL rooms, which are indeed characterized by their pink tones. The darker wall colors you referred to are exclusive to our Large rooms. We make every effort to clearly display the layouts, color schemes, and features of our rooms on all booking platforms, including details about the open bathroom concept and coffee preparation setup. This allows guests to choose the option that best suits their preferences. Regarding the coffee facility, we’ve opted for a more manual preparation method as it aligns with the overall design of the room and provides a more sustainable alternative to single-use pods. While a Nespresso machine might feel more convenient, it would conflict with the cohesive design of our spaces. Sustainability and Minibar Service Sustainability is at the core of our service philosophy, which is why we don’t automatically refill minibars or replace consumables daily unless requested. We understand that asking for water and coffee each day might feel inconvenient, so we encourage you to let us know ahead of your next visit if you’d like this service handled differently. We’d be happy to note your preferences in your reservation and ensure you have everything you need throughout your stay. Cleanliness and Amenities We're sorry to hear that the floor tiles in your room didn’t meet your expectations. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and we’ve shared your concerns with our housekeeping team to ensure closer attention is paid during inspections. Regarding the towels, we typically provide two sizes in every room. It seems this standard wasn’t met during your stay, and we apologize for this oversight. We're glad that you received larger, more luxurious towels when you asked and will make sure this inconsistency is addressed. Restaurant and Private Event We're truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the private party during your stay. While these events are rare, they can disrupt the usual atmosphere and services. First, regarding the assignment of your room: Our policy is to allocate rooms based on availability, and we strive to inform our guests in advance whenever a room might differ from the standard category they booked. However, due to the high occupancy in recent days, it’s possible that no other XL rooms were available during your check-in. The accessible room you were assigned does have some unique advantages, such as a larger bathroom and additional space compared to our standard XL rooms. We hope these features added some comfort to your stay. Concerning the minibar, it is indeed available free of charge but refilled upon request, which we communicate at check-in. This approach is part of our commitment to sustainability, helping us reduce waste and unnecessary restocking. We apologize if this was not clearly emphasized or if it caused inconvenience during your stay. You mentioned that the room felt too dark. While our design is inspired by the royal Bavarian theme, reflecting the heritage suggested by our hotel's name, we understand that lighting preferences vary. We would have been happy to provide additional lighting had we known this was an issue for you.
