LA ROTONDE

La Rotonde is open from 6.30am for our buffet breakfast. We serve both dishes from around the world and regional specialties in modern surroundings. The restaurant also has a pretty outdoor terrace.

Average hotel, good location

Ageing 1990s style hotel in a central location. Hotel staff excellent. Rooms are dated and lack modern facilities you expect as standard No safe, only 1 spare plug socket, no sockets by bed. No USB sockets. No clothes storage drawers only wardrobe with single shelf high up. Parking expensive Worst was breakfast at €27 per person, really ??? Cleanliness of hotel is very good. Room was rear facing into a service area, very noisy early morning with rubbish collection and deliveries Will not stay here on next visit to Freiburg, too many better options. Location is main selling point. Hotel needs to up its game.

Always nice to be back, lots of lobby refurbishment were done! Always nice warm welcome by the staff Hotel is not the youngest but clean and sharp I love the Black-forest atmosphere, rooms are wide and practical Great Bar staff always ready for a chat and good service!

This hotel is located a very short walk to the old town and convenient to the Christmas Markets. Room was adequate with the usual amenities. Pool and sauna were a nice addition after a day of walking around town. Very poor wifi but it was free. Not a great experience, not a bad experience. Hotel is OK. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Freiburg old town is very beautiful, the architecture, that is. Christmas Markets not that good.

Not impressed. Twice in two weeks I sent an email asking if offices or work places would be available for online meetings. I never received a response to either email. Poor conduct from an international hotel chain. When we arrived internet not working. We were promised it would be fixed in two hours. Four hours later when still not working, was told it would be available in 30 minutes. When pressed for reassurance that it would be available, we were told it wouldn't be fixed today. I have two international online meetings, one at 2300 and another at 0600. When we expressed our dissatisfaction from a hotel chain which caters for businessmen, we were hung up on. Not impressed!

No enough parking places and expensive. We had to find parking place on public street sice parking was full. Slow internet connection for free 256KB/s. In year 2023 ??? No power socket near bed. Only average room equipment.
