This is a real Pullman, rooms are well equipped, had a real good sleep! Very wide windows which could be opened to have a fresh breeze. Hotel staff is very pleasant and welcoming. And the breakfast was really good, plenty of choices. Pullman staff in Brussels should take an example of this Pullman! Day and night difference! Hotel is well situated, walking distance to all attractions in Köln .

Definitely stay here!!!

Excellent place. Rooms are spacious and well fitted out. Free minibar was a bonus. Beds and pillows are comfy Breakfast was the best we have had huge range and fresh

hotel stuck in the 90's

The hotel is not really clean or properly maintained. i am on my second day here , but when i checked in the receptionist informed me it was not check in time yet without checking if the rooms are available. then she decided to check me in. when i went up to the 5th floor , there was the smell of body odor in the hallway . as i entered the room , i noticed the entrance was too tight to enter along with my luggage. The toilet was cramped, and the shower seemed not deep cleaned. The room refrigerator did not work , the bed received was 2 separate mattresses put together, and the bed leg had a liquid splash on it that was not cleaned. I asked for a room change , and i was given another room, after walking back into the lobby that smelled like cigarettes from the air being blown from the side entrance where smokers from the function hall go to smoke. The second room was not that clean either , the carpet had traces of food crumbs, broken glass and other debris. The bed mattress protector was crumbled and had human hair and skin cells. The toilet frame was not cleaned , and the bath tub looked like a cheap owner who does not want to spend much on maintenance. There is a concern on safety and hygiene when the property tends to save costs to cleanliness and the state of general maintenance. I do understand that this is an almost 4* hotel , but with a dirty lobby , out of order electricals , and tired / outdated furnishings ... i do not think i will be spending to stay at such a brand in the future. This is the first time in a pullman , and probably my last.

Avoid This Hotel – Misleading Descriptions and Poor Standards

We arrived at this hotel after a long trip from Berlin. During check-in, I asked whether we had received the room upgrade we were entitled to. I was told that for rooms with two separate beds, only the one assigned to us was available. We left our belongings in the room and went to explore the city. Only upon returning did we realize what a terrible mistake we had made by booking this place. The hotel’s descriptions are completely misleading for anyone who has never stayed there. Let me explain. The bathroom was a complete disaster – filthy, with rust coming out of every corner. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, the door didn’t close, and it looked like it hadn’t been renovated since World War II. The Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work. At reception, I was told the router on our floor was faulty but that I could use the internet in the lobby – a “great” suggestion at 11 p.m. On top of that, we had noisy guests on our floor. I reported it to the front desk, but nothing was done the first time. Only when I came down again and threatened to call the police did they finally react. The next morning at breakfast, my daughter wanted pancakes. We were told the machine was broken and there were none. Strangely enough, 30 minutes later – after we had finished eating – pancakes suddenly appeared at our table. I asked to speak with the hotel manager, showed her the photos of the filthy and damaged room, and asked why they deceive customers on their website by advertising themselves as a high-end, luxury hotel when in reality the conditions are worse than a train station changing room. I was offered a refund, but I refused – my point was not about money. I simply don’t want other guests to be misled the way we were. The manager also claimed that at 11 p.m. they had offered to move us to another room, but we declined. Honestly, after a long day, when you’ve unpacked and are ready to rest, the last thing you want to do is repack and move rooms – especially when they didn’t have any with two separate beds available. My advice: stay far away from this hotel. The quality, the service, and the arrogant attitude of the management are unacceptable. Do not believe the descriptions on their website – they are nothing but false advertising.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and very wide choice. Room on the 10th floor was spacious with great views of Köln cathedral. Shower had the clearest and easiest instructions I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Would thoroughly recommend.
