Good Stay

Good stay, room a bit smaller than expected. Breakfast very good. Location is on edge of town centre, with what seems to be main shopping street round the corner so convenient for that. Also there are restaurants in the area (hotel one and the other opposite are pricey) The bed is a bit small with small duvet that doesn't cover body as I like so it needed to be awkwardly supplemented with the bathrobe.

Very nice hotel, check in was smooth and was in my room within 5 minutes. Rooms were good size, clean, and mini bar usage was included in the stay. Also lots of options for breakfast (even vegan). Only bummer was that the bar closed at 23:00/11:00 and the skybar was only open from Thursday through Sunday. Also, this hotel is located a bit away from the river and cathedral (the city center), so beware of this when you book. As I travelled for business, it was fine for me.

Hotel running without manager on duty

I wanted to check in Saturday 21.09.2024 at 14h26. The reception lady Mrs M. told me at a very unfriendly way that Pullman Cologne is open for check in only from 15h00...!! I felt sorry to be 35 min. too early... Even Ibis Budget has more flexibility and act definitely more professional. I don't know where the lady is trained but she definitely needs more training as I could feel that she is at her young age already quite demotivated. Even to talk to the manager on duty was impossible, which is extra ordenary for a 4 star hotel. The lady told me that she replaced the manager on duty although she was still an apprenticeship.. It seems that Pullman Cologne is running without managers as even the GM doesn't reply my feedback mail. Unfortunately with this staff, I can not recommend Pullman Cologne.

We stayed at the Pullman in Cologne for one night, situated just a 15 minute walk from the cathedral it is in an excellent location. The room was really good, very spacious with a great shower and awesome view of the cathedral. The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was the smell of smoke near reception.

Return visit to pullman Cologne. Location is good, close to the shopping area, touristic area, and a lot of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. This time I got a very nice room, with a refurbished bathroom area. Very good (rain) shower. Room. As spatious. Minibar (fee) with water, juices, beer), nice touch. Good bedcomfort. Noise insulation can be improved . Staff was friendly and helpfull. I didn t take breakfast, so can t comment on that. Overall price/quality : a good choice for a short stay in cologne centre.
