Good sized basic hotel. Free onsite parking was nice. Self check in available through a machine when reception is not manned. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Our stay was slightly affected by a large group of teenage guests making noise (they were military cadets in town for D-Day commemorations)

I've used Ibis Budget often but Ibis Budget Granville stood out because of the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, both at arrival and departure. The hotel is not in the centre of Granville but is well located for those travelling by car

Hotel looks shabby from outside but is ok inside. Rooms very small and bathroom tiny. Very clean and basic accommodation. Breakfast room was painfully cramped and selection very limited. Nothing of any real substance to fill you up and get you on your way for the day! This hotel also has a system where you book in via a machine, staff are only available for very limited hours. As my french is very limited booking in was a bit of a challenge. The machine does however have options to do this in english! Also we wanted to make up a bottle for a baby and needed a kettle but nobody around to ask! Eventually we found a microwave that we could use!

On a very quick overnight visit to Granville and Avranches, the Ibis Budget hotel provided everything we needed, comfortable, easy parking, and a good breakfast! Very easy to book and all at a very reasonable price.

Good value, clean rooms and good location after arriving by ferry from Cherbourg. Short drive in to Granville itself. There is really no service so rated 1 as a result. Self check in using card and reservation number.

Great spot to stop on way to ferry. Only 1 hr from Cherbourg. Had lovely swim beside Hotel des Bains. Would stay here again. Nice bars, restaurants and shops in the town area. The walls could do with a paint job and the carpets were a little bit tired

Great little hotel, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were very happy to help and the gentleman on reception even phoned a restaurant to see if it was open. Very clean and tidy and felt very safe with private secure parking.

Fairly good value for its location but not so close as to just pop out for a quick stroll. The washbasin was on the other side of room and not in bathroom where one expects it to be. This wasn't a great innovation as brushing your teeth and face outside requires moving of towels and not allowing partner to sleep through it. Also, after going to the toilet you expect to be able to wash your hands immediately not walk through the room. Room was clean and front office-service staff very friendly though.

Used the hotel as our base for seeing the Tour de France when it was nearby. We were pleased to see that the hotel was newly refurbished. It was quiet even though it was on the main road into town and there was plenty of free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room cost was reasonable. We'll definitely be staying with Ibis Budget again

Anyone seeking a no frills value for money hotel should be pleased with this accom.This particular hotel is part of the Ibis budget range ( ex etap ) but offers a very clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is available for 5.95 euros total cost for up to 3 people 52.95 euros.

Used it as a base for a lads cycling trip. Cant complain about the price. Budget rooms but perfect for what we wanted. Breakfast surprisingly good. Quiet location but out of the town. Rooms are double bed with bunk bed over. Basic but clean.

We have often stayed in Etap hotels and this was as good as many. Set in pleasant lawns, a bright building with the standard Etap layout. The room was clean, all linen and towels were fresh. We slept very well. The breakfast was better than many, with an excellent variety and choice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.
