Aufenthalt in Brüssel, 13-14. April, Zimmer etc war schön, allerdings schlechtes Management/ Service im Restaurant/ Concierge. Ich hatte nach dem Frühstück meine schwarze Mug/ Tumbler (Becher to go: https://library-of-congress-shop.myshopify.com/collections/mugs/products/i-cannot-live-tumbler-1 ) auf dem Restauranttisch stehengelassen (8:55 Uhr). Bei Ankunft im Büro (9:05), habe ich sofort im Hotel angerufen und gebeten, den Tumbler/ Mug, ein Erinnerungsstück, das mir persönlich etwas bedeutet, sicherzustellen, da ich sie direkt am frühen Nachmittag abholen würde. Das wurde mir zugesagt. Bei meiner Rückkehr am Nachmittag wurde ich mehrfach vom Concierge vertröstet, nach 20 Minuten in der Lobby sprach ich ihn erneut an: man wisse nicht, wo die Mug sei. Nach 35 Minuten sprach ich den Manager an, der sich zwar bemühte, mir einen Cappuccino anbot, aber auch nach 45 Minuten noch nicht reagierte. Ich musste mich erneut bemerkbar machen und meine Visitenkarte hinterlassen. Mir wurde versichert, dass man am nächsten Morgen noch einmal mit der Morgenschicht sprechen wolle, da diese die Tasse sicherlich weggestellt hätte. Man sagte mir eine e-mail zu und eine Zusendung des vermissten Gegenstandes. Bis heute habe ich nichts gehört. Das ist bei einem Hotel diesen Standards sehr enttäuschend.

I can fully understand how upsetting it must have been to realize you had left behind an item that holds personal meaning, and then to go through repeated delays and uncertainty when you tried to retrieve it. You acted quickly and responsibly by calling us right away, and we should have responded with the same level of urgency and care. Instead, you were left waiting, without clear answers, and ultimately without the follow-up we promised you. I’m very sorry for the frustration and disappointment this caused. Please be assured that this is not the level of service we strive to provide, and your experience highlights clear gaps in our communication and internal coordination. We take this seriously. I have met you personally when I heard about this situation and tried my best to find a solution. However we are still looking for the mug and will let you know should we find it. I still have your business card and will send you a message should we find anything. Awaiting that I remain at your entire disposal should I assist you with anything. Das Einchecken, das Restaurent (Abend und Frühstück) war hervorragend. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich!!! Nur ein Kritikpunkt: leider war viel Schimmel in dem Fenster der Dusche - in beiden der gebuchten Zimmer. Ansonsten war alles top!!!!

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer groß und sauber mit Blick auf den Place Jourdan. Betten von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Alles in allem, ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Leider war die rooftop Bar noch geschlossen.
