Car stolen from carpark

Careful with this location, my car was stolen from the carpark at this hotel. The general manager has been help getting the CCTV for the Met Police. ANPR only & I can’t get this information either. The keys were in the room & locked away, not sure how they were scanned.

In spite of other terrible, negative reviews we actually had a really good time, for us, it was exactly the right thing in the right place, as we attended a concert at the O2. The booking was done via Booking.com, perhaps not the best idea we've ever had as without Ibis' intervention it could all have gone horribly wrong, but the staff at Ibis went into bat on our behalf and got it sorted, so, top marks for that team, we really appreciate it! Our room was compact and bijou, BUT, it suited our needs perfectly. The bed was so comfortable, we got the best nights' sleep away from home that we've ever had. The breakfasts here are very good, all buffet fashion so you help yourself, but there is ample choice of fare from cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, juice, toast to a full cooked breakfast, all of it fresh and very tasty! As I said at the top of this review, this is our experience, and I can only speak as I find, but we will happily come back when we need to, even if it's just for another weekend without going to the O2!!

Cramped and tired room - overpriced

The room was quite cramped but what struck us immediately was the smell coming from the bathroom which was like a blocked drain. There was also a constant sound coming from the vent (video attached). The bathroom was limited in terms of what was offered - a flannel would have been appreciated and a shower cap (again what you would expect for a room priced at this level). The toilet was not properly cleaned (there was a hair on the seat). The room in general was very tired looking: 1. Paint peeling on the door frame 2. Screw holes on the wall 3.Stained carpet 4. Plug at floor level didn’t work 5. Stain on curtain 6. Sticker mark on mirror The fan in the room did not provide any cool air - only a slight draft of warm air (it was cooler in the corridor outside) Overall our experience at IBIS London Docklands was disappointing and we did not feel that the room was good value at £249 per night and therefore did not meet our expectations. Had it been priced at around £150 we wouldn’t have been so disappointed.

10/10 I would recommend this Ibis Docklands. From the time we walked in, they made us feel so welcome. We had to have a disabled room due to my condition, which was great. Staff were very attentive, especially Victor. had the best sleep ever 😴

Worst hotel I have ever been to

Checked into the ibis . The room was dirt . Stains on the bed . The toilet had not been cleaned from The previous guest. They was human waste stains still in the toilet pan. I have never been into a hotel room as disgusting as this . This hotel was terrible. I ask for a refund from the front desk . They said as long as booking.com send them a email they would possess a refund . Booking . Com said the email and the manager refused it. When I ask the girl on the from desk if she would stay in that room , her reply was no I would not .

I am unable to find any communication from booking.com and rest assured any such feedback would have been dealt with immediately if brought to our attention during check in. It is very difficult for us to make corrective actions post stay and I am quite certain any member of staff would have changed the room upon bringing an issue to our attention.
