Great staff, home away from home, decent location across the zhaw university campus, frequent bus service to everywhere, very good breakfast, very very friendly and charming people in a wonderful vibrant town.

We have stayed at the same hotel again, so there were no surprises, on the contrary : a sense of familiarity. The hotel is clean and quiet and its location is very convenient, three minutes by public transport from the railway station and at the same time away from noise. We could do with a little more variety at breakfast. I would particularly like to thank the staff at the reception desk, who were very kind and helpful.

Typical Ibis room, so not large, but plenty comfortable enough. Location is good, buffet breakfast was good, and additional outdoor seating area pleasant. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

We stopped there for one night on a trip to Rheinfall von Schaffhausen. A simple hotel, small rooms but clean! Beds quite comfortable, a/c voiding be a bit stronger. Staff very very friendly! Parking was a bit too expensive (especially since we were hotel guests). Fast food restaurant and gas station just across the parking lot. Train station in walking distance!

Nice hotel, but member mails?

As many times before we stayed at ibis Winterthur and everything was as good as it use to be. The only thing that disappointed me was that I got an e-mail on October 18th from Accor hotels telling me (in person) that if I book now I get 30 % off + free breakfasts. I did that (pushed the button) but was not able to find any such deal and did not get the discount nor the free breakfasts. I tried to explain this first by mail and then when visiting the hotel, but nothing could be done, no one could explain what happened. I feel cheated on this.
