A poor stay - what to say !!!

No services available, terrible non motivated employees, who don t know what politesse means. Forget the pool … 700 rooms, and max 15 persons in the pool, which is not at all the government rules As gold member, no recongnition, no welcome beverage In few words, we do have the sensation that we do bother the employees!!

This property is nicely located and a good value for Paris. Unfortunately it is an older property has as such has some limitations. Although the room I stayed in was very tastefully kitted out, the lack of control on the heating was an issue for me. The central HVAC meant there was no room control and my room was kept at about 23 degrees which was too hot for me to sleep well. The beds are comfy and the servicing of the room was good too. The property is kept well and the staff is very friendly, courteous and professional.

This hotel should not be an All Accor

The ac never worked. They did something about it after my 3rd complain. My room was not done at all. I was there for 3 long days. This hotel should is not good enough to have the All Accor brand. Its a 2 star hotel not 4.its dirty all the way. Management is not customer oriented.

Do not recommend to stay here. For the rates you are paying for this hotel, you can get better deals on newer hotels. Location is OK, but not great;20 mins walking to the Eiffel Tower. Personnel is not friendly and all the installations are crowded...

My stay at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel was great. It is located at a 10min walk from the Eiffel Tower. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is my second stay at this property this year and I have no regrets choosing to spend the vacation time there. The staff were always ready to help. Having checked in on line, my room key was ready on arrival. The front desk, housekeeping, room service and even maintenance staff were always ready to help.

Good service and breakfast, but not a nice room

Service and breakfast was really good, but our room was not nice. There was a strong smell of drain in the room, the water pressure in the shower was poor, the safe was not working and the carpet was old and had stains.

All seemed good from the outside but it was not all as it seemed. If they put you on the top floor you have to lugg your bag up a set of stairs as the left doesn't go there. Well the room was spacious and the view terrific, but the carpet was disgusting. It looked like the original carpet that was terribly stained and had never been steam or dry cleaned. It was not even up to backpackers standard.! I asked if it could be cleaned during the day and was told they would look at it. Two days passed and my room was not made up. Three phone calls later and the promises were not me so a trip to reception was made and I was accused of not putting the make my room up sign on the door which I had. Further requests regarding the carpet were made and was told the carpets were being replaced throughout the hotel. RUBBISH. The French arent renowned for hygiene and this is a perfect reminder. The shower mixer was not working properly and I requested it to be fixed so you could have a shower that was not boiling or freezing but this also was to hard for them to do. To top it off the bar staff reminded me of faulty towers- I being non French were in there way. NEVER again.

Shocking Service - Rude staff with no understanding

I booked to stay in this hotel - only to understand 1 hour after i booked the hotel i noticed i booked the incorrect date. I contacted the hotel directly only to be told that because i booked the hotel on a no refund section i could not cancel. I also asked could i perhaps stay another time and apply me with credit - answer - NO. Shocking customer service - would never recommend this hotel to any body - they do not care about the service the only care about making money.

The hotel lobby was nice and clean, but our room 2027 was in terrible condition with carpet stains and mould in the bathroom. Really spoiled our holiday. We will not be returning to this hotel in future.

average hotel and bad breakfast

The hotel's name is "Tour Eiffel" do not be mislead thinking you are very close to the Eifel Tower, it's still quite a walk. the mercure of accor is much closer. when we were there the near by metro line was undergoing maintenance, which meant either walk or take a cab. The hotel it self is what you can expect of a Novotel, clean, solid, friendly staff but nothing more. The room we were in was around 400 euro for a night.. in some cities you may expect more for that but this is Paris. So good, normal Novotel. The breakfast however was really bad. I travel a lot for work and I'm used to hotel breakfasts, this was one of the worste I've had in a long time. Eggs, bacon, saucages were cold, eggs were dramatically under cooked. The pancake station, undercooked the pancakes and they were just nasty. the croissants were average but very greasy, the fruit was tasteless. at least there was coffee.

I stayed in Novotel Paris and I had very bad experience staying at this property. I requested for early check in and still I did not get the room until the mid of the day. The room quality was poor, it was badly designed, it was a real bad experience and they charged me more which I did not get it back yet, it is more than 3 weeks now. Terrible, I will not recommend anybody to stay in this property.

Nice new room. After last year's poor service and total debacle, must give credit to the staff who were excellent. Swimming pool was a bonus, especially as it was so hot. Service so more attentive this year.

Weekend trip to Paris

We were looking for a hotel at a reasonable price for a family of 4 in a good location in Paris for 2 nights and came across a deal at this hotel whereby you could get 2 family rooms with the second at half price. The rooms were very spacious, which was great, although they are in desperate need of updating. They are worn, with handles falling off of doors, dirty and stained carpets and dirty bathrooms, so if you are concerned about these things, this is not the place for you. However, the location was ideal (a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower), the staff were very friendly and the rooms were a great size with one being able to realistically accommodate a family of 4. AS such, the hotel gave us everything we needed for the weekend and if they were to smarten up the rooms (which look nothing like the photos on the website), I would upgrade this to a 5 star review. It still gets 4 stars as it gave us everything we needed for our trip.

Pre-paid room wasn’t available-sent to a sister property

Showed up to my pre-paid reservation and was told they didn’t have a room for me. Moved to another one of their properties...at 2am! The man doing check in was extremely rude and even told me “you are not my customer...you can sit there (pointing to lobby chair) and for a room to be available. After waiting for him for about an hour, he sent me to another sister property for the night. I was very upset being I had pre-paid since April and I wanted to be close to the Eiffel Tower. The next Day I went back to the property and the front desk manager, Edith was extremely nice and offered us an executive suite at no cost. She made up for the man’s rudeness from the previous night and they treated us very well from that point on. The suite was remodeled, with a partial view of the Eiffel Tower.

Booked a 2 night stay and requested interconnecting rooms due to travelling with three young kids, even rang the hotel two days prior to check in to request the same. Upon checking we were given two rooms however one was on the 21st floor and the second one on the 26th floor. The duty manager agreed to make mends by giving us a suite for the second night however that didn't happen! We were given a partial refund however our stay will be memorable for all of the wrong reasons at this hotel. The service is very poor whether its at check in or at breakfast. The staff are overstretched and there are long queues everywhere in the hotel. NOT A PLEASANT STAY!!!

Rooms and bathrooms not proper

Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms needs improvement. Also the bathroom of our room was not functioning properly. The flush in the toilet was not working proper and in the shower the water used to come out in the bathroom. This was not fixed though we were offered another room but we did not want the hassle of shifting during our short stay. The manager as a small gesture waived off the charge for late check out. But I think this is not the way it should be. They should check such things on a regular basis and fix it up before letting the guest check in. Else everything is fine. Staff was quite helpful and supportive.
