Ervaring tijdens verblijf in hotel was goed. Echter voorafgaand aan mijn verblijf was hotel niet telefonisch bereikbaar voor vragen en aanpassing boeking. Elke keer opnieuw bellen heeft mij 10 euro gekost en zonder resultaat. Personen die is nodig had waren niet bereikbaar

Naden snelle incheck met een mooie upgrade. In de ochtend kwamen we erachter dat de aanwezige dispensers leeg waren. Gemeld bij de receptie. ‘s avond waren deze allemaal gevuld. Het badjas niet brbuikbaar aangezien de stop defect is, wasbekend bij het hotel. Waarom deze kamer dan nog aanbieden als upgrade?

Ik kom reeds 15 jaar in dit hotel. Met het openbaar vervoer heeft men alle mogelijkheden dicht bij het hotel: DLR, trein en bus. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam zowel, receptie, kamerservice en restaurant voldoet aan alle eisen. Maar de kamers zijn dringend aan renovatie toe. Het is de derde keer dat ik van kamer moet veranderen omdat 2 keer de WC het niet meer doet. Dit jaar was de douchebak volledig middendoor. Men had dit hersteld maar het maakte een krakend geluid als men in de douche stond en ik heb zwaar mijn twijfels of de herstelling volledig waterdicht was. Een nieuwe douchebak was dringend nodig. Men heeft ons wel een nieuwe kamer gegeven zonder problemen. Maar dit zijn echt kamers die men niet meer mag verhuren en eerst renoveren. Hopelijk is er volgend jaar iets vernieuwd want anders zie ik mij genoodzaakt toch een ander hotel te nemen.

Alles heerlijk op loopafstand, de eerste 2 dagen was ik alleen maar ik voelde mij zeer veilig in deze wijk. Fijne kamer en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Het hotel ligt echt om de hoek van het trein/DLR-station en dan ben je snel in het centrum van Londen. Het is wat gedateerd. Bij het ontbijt was de kwaliteit niet altijd wat je zou verwachten: lauwe gerechten van het warme ontbijt, melige conflakes, kiffioe automaat vaak op storing. Lekkere ruime kamers, doucheruimte echt gedateerd.

Naar mijn mening biedt dit hotel een van de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhoudingen voor gezinnen in Londen. Mevrouw Bina, de receptioniste, stond altijd klaar om onze vragen te beantwoorden en ons te helpen – altijd met een warme glimlach. Het personeel is uitstekend: altijd vriendelijk en bereid om te helpen. Op slechts 50 meter van het hotel is er een treinstation dat u in 10 minuten rechtstreeks naar station London Bridge brengt, zonder overstappen. Greenwich is ook een prachtige plek om te bezoeken. Nog een laatste tip: overweeg een hop-on hop-off buskaartje te kopen. De metro is extreem druk en niet ideaal voor gezinnen met kinderen.

Voor mij de derde keer hier, 2x enorm tevreden over alles, deze laatste keer helaas 2 kamers met elk kleine mankementjes aan: geen of slechts 1 werkende USB-aansluiting, meubels die stuk aan het gaan zijn, lang wachten bij het ontbijt. Verder wel steeds propere kamers, alleen jammer van deze kleine minpuntjes.

Ontbijt was echt niet aangenaam, lange wachtrij, zelfs geen yoghurt bij het ontbijt glazen en tassen veel te weinig aanwezig bar dicht om 23u slaapkamers zijn heel basic, wc heeft nog een knop uit de jaren stilletjes tapijt is ook echt niet meer van deze tijd er zat bloed op onze lakens...

Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en de kamers zijn schoon. Wat ik in het hotel opmerk is dat in de kamer wel de badkamer opnieuw gekit kan worden. Dat ziet er frisser uit.
