Ik kom reeds 15 jaar in dit hotel. Met het openbaar vervoer heeft men alle mogelijkheden dicht bij het hotel: DLR, trein en bus. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam zowel, receptie, kamerservice en restaurant voldoet aan alle eisen. Maar de kamers zijn dringend aan renovatie toe. Het is de derde keer dat ik van kamer moet veranderen omdat 2 keer de WC het niet meer doet. Dit jaar was de douchebak volledig middendoor. Men had dit hersteld maar het maakte een krakend geluid als men in de douche stond en ik heb zwaar mijn twijfels of de herstelling volledig waterdicht was. Een nieuwe douchebak was dringend nodig. Men heeft ons wel een nieuwe kamer gegeven zonder problemen. Maar dit zijn echt kamers die men niet meer mag verhuren en eerst renoveren. Hopelijk is er volgend jaar iets vernieuwd want anders zie ik mij genoodzaakt toch een ander hotel te nemen.

Een hele goede ervaring, ik vond de receptie iets wat zakelijk en niet geheel vriendelijk. Maar het personeel wat aan de bar of het ontbijt werkt zijn heel lief en heel vriendelijk. Willen een praatje maken. Ik wilde mijn dochter verassen met een taartje en dat heeft Astha geregel Voor ons. Al zingend met een kaarsje in het taartje brachten zij het naar de ontbijt tafel. Zo lief! Ontbijt is voor de prijs echt meer dan voldoende.

Alles heerlijk op loopafstand, de eerste 2 dagen was ik alleen maar ik voelde mij zeer veilig in deze wijk. Fijne kamer en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.
