Dear Fatma, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay. Following our discussions, I would like to confirm that all of the information you provided directly to me, together with the details submitted through Accor Customer Care, has been fully reviewed and noted by the hotel management team. With regard to the smoking charge, I would like to clarify that smoking inside guest rooms is strictly prohibited under UK legislation and hotel policy. Clear no-smoking signage is displayed within the hotel and guest rooms. During your stay, evidence of smoking in the room was identified and documented, resulting in the smoking fee being applied in accordance with the hotel's terms and conditions. Following your discussion with the hotel at the time, the original smoking charge of £300 was reviewed and reduced to £100 as a gesture of goodwill. Having carefully considered all information available, the hotel's position remains unchanged and the charge will stand. I am sorry that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the service and communication you experienced. Your comments have been shared with the relevant department heads for review and consideration as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the guest experience.
