Horrible hotel and Rude staff

(THIS REVIEW IS FROM ME, A UK JOURNALIST AND REPORTER. I STAYED FOR 6 NIGHTS WITH MY GUEST FOR CHRISTMAS 2025) Rooms The room heating doesn't work despite there instructions on how to use it and it was zero to 2 degrees outside during out 7 nights. There alot of recent reviews about this, wish I took it seriously. I had to go out and buy myself and my guest a heater. Food Breakfast was sloppy, greasy, stale and always cold. Dinner Was disgusting and always lukewarm. Everything on the menu was junk food and no real vegan options. After our first 3 days we decided not to have breakfast and dinner and ate out which was difficult on Christmas day as nothing was open. Gym Horrible! Dated and the dumbells extremely rusty. Staff Rude, lack of empathy and command of British English was very poor. The only good thing about our stay is when we checked out! Awful. Sparse, low rent rooms, every expense shared in the bathrooms. Bed was OK. Toilets in the reception were disgusting. Room toilet had no light and the heating did not work. Horrible breakfast that wasn't even warm, couldn't eat it. Will not return.

A pleasant hotel with nice rooms and helpful staff . It can get busy though.

Another regular haunt for us on our visit to MK. The staff are always pleasant and always try to help guests . It has an pool which is unsupervised which is great too. The rooms are nicely equipped , with comfy beds and all necessities like soaps , kettles , teas and coffees but no aircon. It does do breakfast at extra cost, but on one of the days we had breakfast it ran out of plates , cutlery and tea. The plates and cutlery were replaced quite quickly but after 30 minutes the tea still had not , even after we had requested more.

For the price, it was great! Buffet style breakfast with cereals and hot food, pastries and pancakes (temperamental pancake machine). Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms are ok, nothing special but are cleaned well. No usbs so take plugs for your chargers. Pool is small, we went to use it but abandoned it at the door as it was full. Small gym, mostly cardio with very limited free weights. Good location, just off a main road opposite a Bp petrol station. All in all, a good value hotel, no complaints
