December last minute change of plan

We were intending to stay with another venue but got scammed and on arrival found out. We needed somewhere in a hurry and this fit the bill. Typical example of the brand and fee parking. Good quality breakfast.

Disheartening experience

Absolutely disgraceful, we booked a holiday and we included breakfast in our booking and then they told us that we didn't so then we had to go searching for breakfast very early in the morning. The starfight reception and the kitchen are very rude they don't like repeating things even if you don't understand what they're saying, they didn't even want to give us a cup of hot water, in the end we purchase some food for them as we had no choice and the food was at a very low standard, awful customer service and extremely rude. The room is basic standard but the Wi-Fi sometimes does not work and the buttons on the remote hardly work I was not recommend coming here

Paid over 2 thousand pound for Food and accommodation at this filthy Hole {Alicante} . The African Staff could barely talk English so We went to our sparse horrible rooms , filthy... Next morning We Came down for Breakfast and the lying staff said we hadn't PAID and would not even give us poxy Coffee , Had No Money left and had too Return to U.K. .... CRIMINALS ............ GOD BLESS x

Basic hotel on outskirts of Alicante

Having read some of the poor reviews was a little worried but found hotel basic but clean and reasonably priced. If you can walk there’s another bus (number 1) which runs regular. Walk 15 mins towards Alicante just after the park first left up the road on the right side. Bus fare is 1.45 euro. Also taxi to airport is only 13 euro. Airport bus which stops outside is 4.70 euro but sometimes won’t stop if it’s full so not much more to get a taxi, hotel will book it for you.

We stayed at the Ibis for a long weekend as part of an easyJet package deal. The hotel is a mere 10 minutes from Alicante airport. We had a private transfer, however. The C6 bus runs every 15 minutes and stops almost outside the Ibis. Both Ibis and Ibis budget are on the same site. We arrived earlier than we were able to check in. We were greeted warmly and it was no problem at all to leave our bags, they were locked away and we were given tickets. When we returned to check in later, the greeting again was lovely and staff very helpful. We were in the main building, nice clean modern room and we had a sea view( not chosen- just lucky) You can get food all day long until 11 at night which is great. We had breakfast included and found it to be fabulous. Cereals, toast bread. Croissants, cake and a cold continental meat and cheese selection Gluten free options were available too. Now we knew how hotel was not in the city and a little out of the way, however. There is a beautiful park -El Palmeral- just a 10-15 minute walk if you go left out of the hotel. They have a cafe and bar. Walk on another 15 and there is a small beach at the back of Saint Gabriel station. There are no facilities at the beach, it’s nice and quiet. If you cross back to the other side of the road, there are a few bars and restaurants 5 minutes away. Cross over the road from the hotel and catch the number 27 bus into Alicante-check the timetable, they’re every hour in September. The last one back is 9.30pm Taxi is 10-12 euros and very quick also. All in all, we loved our stay. The staff were 10/10. We would definitely stay again. Didn’t see the rooms in the budget side.
