Old hotel..in process of renovation..the drilling starts at 9 AM Small reception Upon check in, make sure to ask the front desk for a renovated room. Location is great Over priced Water dispenser only with empty carafe..Not really hygienic. Breakfast buffet is average

Great stay. Nice hotel, close to the city centre, very good location, nice friendly professional and helpful staff, especially the front desk Manager František. Nice room, big and good equipped. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel, recently refurbished and in an ideal location. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Had 2 meals from the restaurant, adequate choice on menu. Despite being busy, resturant, bar and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, nice swimming pool and fitness. The room overal was nice but the sofa bed matress was really hard. At breakfast it was full of people, the second day of our stay the conference room was opened to let everyone eat their breakfast. The capacity of the rooms doesn’t match the capacity of the breakfast buffet. Swimming pool was lovely and staff was nice! Overal a nice hotel. The location of the hotel was right in de city center, which is really nice!

After a warm welcome by reception lady, as the Novotel experience promises, it all went down the drain. Entering the bar for my welcome drink, already noticed only 2 girls while it was packed with families and kids. Enjoyed Olympic games while wait. Great service of this Hotel, large screen for Olympic Games. Douze points. Decided to have some food as well. The novotel experience fanished in a nanosecond. Waited at the bar to order. Girl with short hair and glasses approached me hestitantly snd looked away and just arrogantly said: i am listening... Not even 'hello, how can i help or what would you like to drink, eat etc...' I am listening.... I let her know that this was a bit off, and that a smile or question gives a much better feeling. Suddenly the royal queen of novotel made eye contact. How dare I? And replied:, than you have to wait for my other collegue. And just walked away! I even said: you are not going to help me? Nothing... Her royal highness felt too good to serve customers and started to clean a table while talking to her colleague. They had a small chat and the other girl came very carefully towards me. She noticed i was pretty much off by behavior of her collegue and forgot that my welcome drink was free and charged it. I told her that it was my welcome drink and she deleted it from the bill. Called the desk and mentioned my uncomfortable and unpleased experience. She asked which of the two girls it was and promised to mention it to the responsible person. There was nobody to file a complain with. People in charge already left the building.
