We are sorry to hear that your stay at ibis Brussels Centre Gare Midi did not live up to your expectations and apologize for any inconvenience you faced. Regarding the lack of USB plugs in the rooms, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our hotel aims to provide a comfortable environment and we recognize the importance of staying connected, therefore we offer alternative charging solutions at the reception. We understand that a welcoming and efficient check-in process is crucial, especially when timing is a concern. It is regrettable that a delay occurred due to system issues and we apologize for any stress this has caused. Our team strives to ensure a smooth experience and we are disheartened that we fell short in this instance. Furthermore, the situation described with the elevators is certainly not up to our standard. Our maintenance team is tasked with ensuring that all our facilities, including elevators, are functioning properly and we regret any disruption this may have caused during your stay. Cleanliness is a cornerstone of our service, and to discover a lapse as you described with the waste bin is deeply concerning. Please accept our sincerest apologies; we have addressed this with our housekeeping team to prevent such occurrences in the future. Lastly, we acknowledge your thoughts on the value offered. We aim to provide a competitive rate which includes access to various amenities and a prime location opposite the Brussels-South railway station. While breakfast is not included in the standard room rate, we believe our continental breakfast buffet offers a range of quality options for our guests. We are pleased that you appreciated our hotel's proximity to the train station, which offers convenient access to Thalys, Eurostar, and ICE services, making it an ideal location for travelers. However, we are disheartened to hear about your experiences with the room and surrounding area. Our guests' comfort is of the utmost importance to us, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations in this regard. We acknowledge that the energy of a city center location can sometimes be overwhelming, and we strive to provide a peaceful haven within our establishment. Regarding the room conditions, we are constantly working to maintain and improve our accommodations, including ensuring effective air conditioning and cleanliness. While our rooms do not come equipped with fridges or in-room safes, we do offer secure luggage storage and other amenities such as complimentary water in our premium rooms, a 24-hour front desk, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. We understand that pricing is an important factor when choosing accommodations, and we aim to offer competitive rates that reflect the quality and services provided. Furthermore, our security measures, such as the room key activated lifts, are in place to ensure the safety and peace of mind for all our guests. However, we regret to hear that the air conditioning in your room did not function to your satisfaction and that the sound quality of the TV was not as clear as expected.
