Hotel is well situated not far from the city centre. Check in and check out good and staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok but room very busy. Good that it had parking but could do something about the kerb leading into it- a bit on the high side.

guest not welcome, you are intruder among happy staff. They block your credit card and then charche for the room. The blocked is for ever although you are sending emails to unblick your money. Time and again.

została zablokowana kwota 100€ z mojej karty, poczym drugie tyle zapłaciłem za pobyt, co spowodowało poniesienie dodatkowych opłat bankowych. Na mój email do hotelu nie było reakcji, dopiero telefon doprowadził do odblokiwania.

The hotel was ok for an overnight stop and was handy to walk into the city centre. For those not venturing far there is an Italian restaurant next door. This was my 3rd Ibis Hotel on our way back from Italy and usually the breakfast is good. This time there was no fresh fruit and it was a bit of a bun fight so I was disappointed.

Rooms are cramped, worn out, with damaged furniture and wornout bedding. This is the worst Ibis Hotel I have ever stayed in and is an embarrassment to the chain. The first room we were given was on the 5th floor. On arrival on the 5th floor there was an over powering stench of toilet cleaner in the corridor. The room had a badly damaged desk, damaged walls, dirty marks on the walls and grey, not white bedding. I returned to reception to complain about the room and smell I was immediately given the room opposite and when I said about the damage and that the quality was very poor the manager and reception staff were not bothered in the slightest. The replacement room was slighlty better. There was still obvious damage to the walls and some of the bedding had holes in it but at least it was white this time. The stench of toilet cleaner came and went over the few days we were there and got to the point that it was burning the back of your throat. The beds are advertised as being the best quality with new mattresses while infact they are basic mattresses with a thin topper on them. They are not comfortable. On our final evening we were informed that the next morning the local marathon was going past and the road would be closed from 0600hrs. This meant that we had to find another car park with no security for our car. The marathon and road closure had not been mentioned at all until this point. On checking out the staff were not bothered about any of the issues raised. On our final morning my collegue left his leather jacket in the dining area of the hotel. Despite several attempts by both of us to ring the hotel over the next 4 days the phone is never answered and so have been unable to enquire if the jacket was handed in. This hotel is worn out, badly damaged with little customer care. I will not return to this hotel and feel that I have been overcharged for the room.
