Great location and very clean and well appointed. All the staff, from reception to the restaurant, were professional and friendly. Nice touches in the room: iron and ironing board, good toiletries. I like that they give you a voucher if you don’t have your room cleaned. I was in a group of seven staying in the hotel for business on a Thursday evening. We arrived late in the restaurant and the food exceeded expectations. All in all, a great experience and good value for money.

Great stay, very quick check in by friendly staff, clean room and bathroom with full amenities. Loved the firm mattress and had very good sleep. Good central location near Oxford Street train station. Good food options near hotel. Will stay here again.

Amazing location, super convenient for the train station and walking around central Manchester. Lovely friendly service, delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean, room was perfect. Everything about our stay here was perfect! Thank you!

Novotel are the posher member of the Ibis family and there is an Ibis right next to this one. On arrival it all.looks very sparkly and lovely lots of white modernist vibes. But get to the rooms and it's all getting a bit tired. The rooms suffer from the modern hotel malaise of being just dark and that can hide a multitude of issues. I know i complain about the Ibis bathroom pod it. Nootels quirk seems to be the loo on a separate tiny room. Fine but in my room you could not leave the seat up without it coming crashing down. (Being well brought up I was told to always lift the seat....).Tne bathroom sink a sweeping modern affair was just dirty and the bath had gaps in the sealant and creaked alarmingly. Also there was no was I could get it to empty as the plug mechanism was broken. The room has an air cooling system which sounds like a jumbo jet taking off...so had to simply turn it off and be hot. When I left I actually said the air con was too noisy and the rather smug member of staff on the desk told me it could not have been as they don't have air con it's an air cooling system. Well.eother way it's too noisy to sleep with on. Breakfast again bang ordinary nothing at all to write home about and no black pudding. All in all not worth the extra money

Best bed I’ve EVER slept in!

Best bed I’ve ever slept in, in my whole life! The room was spacious and comfortable, staff were attentive, room was spotless, shower was lovely. Only one down fall, I’d sent a message to the property prior to my stay asking if I could pay for someone to decorate the room for my partners birthday, they said this would be free of charge. I checked into the room and this unfortunately wasn’t done which was a bit of a let down but it was a lovely hotel and I would absolutely stay again!
