Racist staff against Asian countries

If you want to be discriminated and humiliated for being a different race than european, please proceed with the booking. Their european Staff is anti-asian because according to them Asian Countries are poor and they treat you accordingly. They will leave no chance to humiliate you/family. Irony: They do not have inhouse housekeeping (outsourcing at cheaper price instead of hiring and training staff). Looks like they are secretly poor😌 Mercure comes under Accor group and Manager handles Mercure and Hyatt House hotel. Now who is poor?

This is no longer a 4 star hotel. Recent cost cutting changes have eliminated evening meal service and room mini bar (now its self service microwaved meals from the lobby). I imagine the changes look good for the Mercure accountants, but did anyone ask the customers ?

Dear Noel, many thanks for your reply. We can understand, that not each guest agree with our change in a mordern F&B concept. Since January we have implemented the Kukimi concept with Asian, Indisch and local Food. Also , Salads ,wraps and sandwiches 7days /24 hours. Also we serve fresh made Pizzas in the hotelbar during the week in the evening. Since we have installed the shop, the amount of offered drinks increased from 7 out of the minibar, to about 30 several drinks, we offer in the shop. Also we reduced the prices for the drinks and food in respect, that we do not have the high cost of minibars , that are not used in the room. We have gain many positive feedback to this . Surtainly our bisto / hotelbar is opened during the week to offer service and beer , wine and other drinkt to our guests. best regards Stefan Rösl General Manager

Wij gaan alle dagen de hele dag naar de beurs in frankfurt (vrijdag 5 uur smorgens vertrokken en pas 19.00uur in het hotel)Aangekomen in het Mercure... bleek bar en restaurant gesloten!!!!! we moesten er dus weer uit om te eten...Zondag zou het open zijn (zo werden wij via een bord geinformeerd bij de ingang op zaterda) helaas ook dicht ivm zieke dame (pardon)Dus nee echt ontevreden op internet stond gewoon 6.30 - 23.00 bar restaurant open!! heel raar en heel naar want wij moesten elke avond weer weg wat je juist niet willen!!

Dear Ladies and Gentleman, thanks for your comment regarding the opening times of our bar and restaurant on weekend. We apologize about the circumstance that the restaurant and bar was closed . Even if we could offer drinks and food with our new grab and go shop, we understand, that you have expected more service. We will prove, if we are able to open the Bar for the next Heimtextil fair. The history has shown, that the demand was very low and the guests stayed in Frankfurt during the fair. Therefore we reduced the opening times on weekend. Hope to welcome you again next year. Het hotel was heel vlot via email bereikbaar vooraf, vriendelijke medewerkers, propere en ruime kamer, 's avonds nog een bar in het hotel, 's ochtends een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Het hotel ligt in een buurt met veel kantoorgebouwen. Correcte prijs, tevreden.
