Dear Sarne D. V., Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your stay at Novotel Frankfurt City. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the cleanliness of our lobby, breakfast area and bar, as well as our location. At the same time, we regret that parts of your stay did not fully meet your expectations. In particular, we would like to address your comments regarding the unpleasant smell in some areas of the hotel. During your stay, we had been testing a modified ventilation setting aimed at reducing energy consumption overnight. Unfortunately, this resulted in reduced air circulation in certain parts of the building and allowed odors to accumulate, especially in the stairwells. Once we recognized the negative impact, we immediately reverted to the previous settings. We hope this has successfully resolved the issue and apologize for the inconvenience. We also appreciate your comments regarding our parking garage. As the garage was built together with the hotel, it naturally differs from the appearance of many modern parking facilities. While a complete visual refurbishment is currently not feasible, we continuously evaluate smaller improvements that can enhance the overall guest experience. At the same time, we try to maintain a very competitive parking rate for Frankfurt, allowing our guests to benefit from convenient on-site parking without significantly higher costs. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us identify opportunities for improvement and ensures that we continue moving in the right direction.
