Old tired noisy & dusted room

The motel is situated right next to the busy Sydney Road and the Western Metropolitan Ring Road arterial, with a train line directly behind the property, making it a bustling intersection 24/7. The room is tiny, with very thin walls and a built-in fiberglass bathroom/toilet that smells and feels like it hasn't been cleaned properly. The water pressure in the shower is so weak that even the toilet flush is stronger. Dust is prevalent throughout the room, even on the most obvious surfaces like the tiny bedside table. The clunky 1970s/1980s-era air conditioning unit is so noisy that you’ll need to turn it off in the middle of the night. The smell and the dusty filter make you question its usability. There is one tiniest kitchen downstairs, but it is constantly occupied, l’ve never seen it vacant the entire time I stayed there so don’t count on using it. Buying takeaway from the McDonald's opposite the property even seems like a better option. Breakfast costs $10 per person, but I suggest driving to the nearby Campbellfield Plaza for more varieties. As an Accor Silver Plus member, don’t expect a welcome drink here, as one of the Accor benefits. It simply doesn't exist at this motel. I booked the room directly via Accor.com, but don’t be fooled by the net price quoted on their website, even with "taxes and fees" included. Upon checkout, if you don’t request a printed invoice, you may later find an additional charge for what they claim are credit card fees. I have never experienced this at other Accor properties after taxes and fees were included. All in all, I should have paid $20 more to stay at a better place.

Checked in at 8:30pm, checked out at 11:30p.m. The rooms are closet-sized and have been retrofitted with a shower/toilet module. There is one pillow available per bed and the pillow case is thicker than the pillow. The hallways seemed to double as a middle-eastern bazaar with people coming and going non-stop with no regard for sleeping guests, the walls have gaps in them because they seem to have been added to split up larger rooms, which meant that I could hear the occupants of the room next to me as if I was sharing it with them. Don't let the exterior photograph fool you. It isn't as well-kept as it looks.

Not great. Regretful stay.

The room had a huge peep hole that felt creepy. You could easily hear strange noises coming from other rooms. The breakfast was nothing like the images online and could be so much better. They advertise real 'expresso' coffee and it's Nescrape. Communication needs improving.

Midnight and mucked around

Arrived at midnight to a full motel. Met by a surly receptionist who told me card was 'declined' & booking cancelled. The email confirmed arrived as I stood there. Offered same room, more expensive rate. Credit card miraculously 'worked'!

First and last time we will be staying here. The rooms are tiny, the bunk bed above the queen wasn't even made, no sink in the bathroom.. That's out beside the bed, no TV remote until request, the bathroom was a plastic shell.. If you needed to use the toilet through the night the noise of the door woke everyone.. But the road noise also contributed to keeping you awake anyway... Only positive was the bed was clean and comfortable (not the bunk).. Better off paying another $10 and getting a decent room (we paid $129).. I have stayed in better pubs and caravan parks
