The hotel boasts an advantageous location and exceptional staff treatment. The accommodations are comfortable, although the rooms are compact and the bathrooms are similarly small. It is advisable to exercise caution with water in the shower, as it may leak onto the bedroom floor. The breakfast is satisfactory. The combination of the hotel’s location and the quality of its staff make it an excellent choice.

We chose this mercure hotel as it is located in the St Germain area that is quieter, safer and atmospheric being near the university and near the metro lines. The hotel is air conditioned- important during the heat wave we experienced . The service is typical of any Mercure hotel you expect . The only issue is that the shower tray is elevated and is higher than the beds . As such, water will ALWAYS spill out and flood the sink area and seep to the bedroom . Wiping the floor will soak the floor as dry . Other than those issues , the hotel is okay . Do note that hotels in Paris are super expensive . Paying €350 a night for a small 16sqm room and having leaky bathroom floors are a little expensive for that .

Very good slightly pricey hotel in V Posh location

Solid bed, lovely night's sleep as the blackout curtains kept all the light out. Room perfectly adequate and spacious, pricey but this IS just off Place Odeon. Took the underground from Gare du Nord to Odeon as Paris taxis are astronomic and largely unnecessary and the hotel is about 5 mins walk. Many bus routes pass nearby and two Metro lines. Didn't do breakfast here as the breakfast room is small and this is Paris after all...just go down to Rue des Ecoles and you have three classic PArisian street caffs at your disposal. Staff helpful and funny at times, good English though that wasn't needed too much. Ask for more milk when you arrive as the amount that comes with the teamaker barely makes one cup of anything.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2025. Very good hotel. Convenient location allows you to walk to all the sights, and the area itself is very cozy and there are not many tourists. A large number of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is very cozy. Freshly renovated and comfortable rooms. The hotel staff is responsive. We went to another city for a couple of days and our luggage was kindly left for storage at the hotel. Breakfast is very good. I recommend!
