Toilet failure problem every night

Our room had a problem wherein the toilet fluish system failed every night during a 4-night stay. The front desk sent maintenance up to take care of the situation, and every time we were told that the problem had been taken care of. On the 2nd and 3rd nights, this occurred late in the evening, and had maintenance in our room between 11P and Midnight. On the last night, the problem occurred just before 9PM. The front desk said they would send someone up immediately and said they would send a bottle of champagne to our room. After an hour and 15 minutes, I had to go back down to the front desk because nothing had been done. After asking, again, that the situation be addressed, they finally got someone up to address the toilet problem. The champagne arrived at 10:30 PM, over an hour and a half after I initially left the front desk and, considering we were leaving early the next morning, I sent the champagne back as being too late to have. On the positive side, one of the concierge staff, Emma, was terrific in setting up tours, transportation, and suggesting restaurants.

the room was really spotless and staff were very helpful and sociable . hotel s lobby was broad and it has many facilities like restaurants. I didn’t book my room with breakfast and I can’t say about that. I think it has a perfect location in Paris we were near to all prime locations.

Blilggest problem is shower place . Second problem is beds , too small . But very comfortable Totally good hotel in this price range, breakfast is good too , About distance to Paris downtown must use taxi , little far from downtown. I suggest this hotel

Room was great (probably bigger than most standard size hotel rooms in Europe) and it had a nice view of the surrounding area. The hotel is right above a Metro station for Line 13 and within easy walking distance to the station where you can catch lines 4, 6, and 12. Hotel is also next to an E.Leclerc store and there is also a Lidl store just down the street (money saving tip, get food at stores instead of restaurants). Do get the breakfast, it's worth the cost. You will need energy for all the exploring you will be doing and food the selections are great! Staff is very professional, there was an issue that arose that was not the fault of staff or the hotel on our first night here that resolved itself the next day. Even though I did not hold them responsible, as a sorry for your inconvenience, the hotel offered (and we accepted) complimentary champagne for me and my wife and complimentary juice of their choice for our daughters. This was really above and beyond on their part.

Ok hotel lacking that personal touch

We spent one night at this hotel after spending a few nights in the nearby hotel Sofitel. Both hotels are similar in price (I bring this up so I can compare the two). Our reservations here were very last minute and the hotel did a nice job accommodating us even though there were some challenges with the reservation. The lobby staff were very nice and could speak with us in French and English. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff were not so nice. This is the first place we have stayed in Paris where the staff seemed to go out of their way to avoid you (no eye contact at all). Every staff member we saw in the hallway looked away and never returned a simple bonjour. This is not the experience we expected from a hotel in this price range. The rooms in the hotel were ok, they seemed old and a bit crusty. Some of the tech features were not working - we had to unplug the tablet to get it to stop making beeping noises evenafter confirming there were no messages, notifications or anything else running. The family compared it to old Vegas hotel, which I think is a fair comparison. It did not have the look and feel of the other Parisian hotels we have used. We really appreciate their initial efforts but overall didn't feel the room or the experience was worth the price.
