Business trip second time since COVID travel restrictions

Attended a big conference at Paris Expo this weekend. The Pullman staff was extremely helpful before I arrived, could WhatsApp them re my requests well ahead arrival. Maryanne at checkin reception was extra nice and helpful. Breakfast is great. I had a room with a nice view on 28th floor. Clean and modern. Concierge very helpful and courteous. Taxi drivers and locals all v nice to me (Asian tourist) in Paris. Incredible transformation compared with 20 years ago. Must come back. Convenient to the Metro and train station

This was a clean, modern hotel with courteous staff. I am especially grateful to the technician Florian Selva whose knowledge and service I was impressed by. I had issues with wifi connection, which was very important for my work. Even though I needed his help very late at night and was frustrated, he was so patient, calm, and guided me through the problem (and the problem was actually with my laptop). Thank you Florian, and thank you to all the staff for your kind and patient service.

Rom Com craziness in a well-appointed hotel

A Rom-Com script does not play out better than this. In fact, if I saw it in a movie, I might question its feasibility. My girlfriend and I stayed there for six days. The rooms were clean and the beds were great. The shower designs tried to hard in every room (I will explain how we go to several in a moment), and simply garnered water all over the floor. While the hotel was lovely, we had multiple problems: On night three, we were awakened in the middle of the night by someone smoking in either a room nearby or in the hallway. I called down at 3:30 AM to complain and was told security would be sent. The smell did not dissipate for hours and we were up until 5:30 AM, having to get up at 6:30 a.m. for our itinerary. Not a good night at all. Upon our return from our plans, we went to the front desk and asked what had happened and if the person was spoken with. They said they had not spoken with the smoker and initially suggested we just "see what happens and call if there is a problem." Not a good solution, as we would possibly be awoken again by the smoke, and I mentioned this. They kindly moved us to another room on the 31st floor, citing an upgrade. Upon arrival in our new room, we laid down as we were tired and immediately started hearing noise over our heads. We called the front desk and asked what was over us. They said they would get back to us. My partner said, "Can you please find out? We don't want to be making this same call at 9:00 PM tonight. At 9:30 PM, we still had not received the call but did hear very loud dance music from above us. We called down to complain and it turns out, we were moved to right below their nightclub, the Skybar, and the very thing we had hoped would not happen (a late night call) was happening, as no one remedied the problem. We were moved again. This time to the 27th floor. The room was fine, but on our last day, as we were trying to rest before leaving, we were blasted by a loud fire alarm. Afraid for our lives, we dashed down the stairs in states of undress and eventually made it down to the lobby. When we got there, we were met by staff who comedically had a piece of paper that we never received stating that they were to be holding fire drills on our floor. We had not been informed and thought the hotel was on fire! The hospitality manager, Florencia, tried to take care of us, getting us some breakfast and wiping the last breakfast off of our bill. She went to look into refunding us several days but told us that as we bought the bundle through BJs (a nightmare in and of itself), we would have to look to get this taken care of through BJs. We never got comped for the room, just a breakfast. If offered, I would stay there again as the accommodations were nice, but what a frenetic fiasco. Maybe, some fodder for a script, if nothing else.

the hotel was great, rooms are big enough,every thing is so clean in bed rooms and you have all things that you need except iron ,but shampoo,body lotion,slippers ,espresso and tea maker is available and they charge them every morning,breakfast was so wonderful and varied. our room was completely quiet and the bed was so comfortable,all in all we had unforgettable experience in this hotel ,and I recommend that to others

Great hotel, let down by breakfast

Our family of 4 was quite impressed by this hotel. Rooms are quite spacious and the check in process was seamless. There are toiletries provided in the bathroom, which is a nice touch. The location of this hotel is a bit out but there is a train station nearby, which helps. Supermarket literally next door, which is great. The only thing that was a bit of a letdown was breakfast. The selection is great, a big range to choose from, but I found most of the 'hot' food cold (eggs, bacon, pancakes ... all cold). For the price we were paying for this, I found this disappointing and surprising. Not sure why this is the case? Bit of a letdown, but otherwise, quite a good hotel. A filtered water tap, especially during summer, would not go astray in the lobby, to allow travellers the chance to fill up before heading out.
