Terrible food

Had dinner at the restaurant the food was expensive and plain. Had the ravioli i bet food at the soup kitchen would taste better. The chips were dry and a rip off. The food at the Novotel used to be great with the chicken schnitzel but they removed it from the menu. Don't make the mistake of eating from here

NRL stay with family

A big thank you to the Novotel staff for a great stay. We stayed for 1 night to attend the NRL game at Accor Stadium. Great views from level 16 overlooking the stadium and beyond towards Parramatta. The staff all went above and beyond and are what sets this hotel apart. The buffet breakfast was delicious it was great that a barista coffee was included on arrival.

Not recommended for Platinum and Diamond members

We used to stay here often and they always looked after you as a Platinum then Diamond Accor plus member, however there was no benefits this time. While the Hotel is still Ok and in great position for attending events at Olympic Park, It is the first time I've stayed at an Accorr Hotel in the last 6 years when I have not received the complimentary wine and fruit and cheese platter. Also, while the Hotel ended up booked out it did have rooms we could have been upgraded to up until around midday on the day of our stay, so we missed out on this benefit also. Fortunately the Pullman Hotel next door seems to still treat Diamond members very well. Overall very disappointed with our return to the Novotel here and will avoid in the future.

Convenient and noisy

This hotel's main selling point is the location, which is very convenient - there's also the option to take the lift to a separate exit which is closer to where you need to go. I also needed a setup which had a door separating the two beds (i.e. a bedroom and a sofa bed in a separate living area - to stagger bedtimes) and the other closest hotels didn't have that option. The king suite suited our needs as a family. Check in was great - quick, friendly service (mind you, I used the quicker Accor queue) and a colouring book was provided for my child. The breakfast buffet was adequate - nothing outstanding but you'll find most of what you want there. The only real con - and to me this is a big one - is the noise from The Brewery. Turns out it stays open later after a footy match (which was not why we were there) and the music is pervasively loud, even when you're on the 16th floor. Windows do not appear to be double glazed. I'll also add that hoons like to use Olympic Boulevard past midnight, so good luck getting any sleep on that side of the hotel.

We stayed in 2 rooms while our 3 daughters attended the SZA concert. The proximity of the hotel to the Qudos arena and the lcoal cafes/restaurants was convenient. Isabel (at reception) was exceptional. She was welcoming, hospitable and pleasant. She went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and we appreciated it. The beds were very comfortable. It was a bit disappointing when we had to go down to reception twice to reprogram our key cards to the room as they were not working.
