It’s a budget hotel. Clean, spacious enough, clean bathroom facilities. Free parking but no restaurant. You can walk 100m to the Mercure next door for a great French restaurant experience. Breakfast is sufficient and popular. Some nights a food truck parks up front.

A very comfortable and modern Ibis Budget with helpful and friendly staff. Using a budget hotel chain can, in my experience, be a bit hit and miss and it’s also imperative that you have realistic expectations; it won’t be costing 5-star money so it’s totally unreasonable to expect 5-star facilities. The building seems quite new/modern with decent sized rooms and a very welcoming shower with plenty of hot water. The car parking is secure and the location is great for the main road network. Visitors need to be aware that you only get a single pillow so for some this may mean the nights sleep isn’t especially comfortable. In this outlet the mattress was fairly firm so again, it may not be to everyone’s liking. Cleanliness seemed good and the breakfast was great value (unlimited continental with breads, cheese, coffee, yoghurt, fruit).

It is indeed unreasonable to expect a 5-star service (minimum rate per night = 200€) for an oscillating rate of 53€ to 72€ depending on the season for a 2 star. We are happy to receive your compliments on our establishment which celebrated its 12th anniversary in May. It is thanks to the effort of the whole team that the hotel seems new in the eyes of our customers. We are present 24 hours a day and graciously lend additional pillows, hair dryer .... Do not hesitate to come and see us. We have ordered mattress toppers which will soften the nights of customers who do not like firm bedding. First of all we couldn’t get into our room, there was a problem with the room card, we ended up having to use a key. Not a huge problem. The design of the rooms in terms of privacy and consideration for anyone else sharing with you is pretty poor. The toilet door does not “seal” so to speak, so all noises are amplified… the toilet light is on a sensor so there is no option to have this on or not, which in the middle of the night, with the gaps around the door, means the room is lit up… Breakfast is incredibly basic too, but then for €7.50 I guess you get what you pay for. In terms of positives, the staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel was bright and clean, with the outdoor, reception and dining areas funky and modern. One really good thing was the burger van outside, this was a great idea, as there is nothing really in the vicinity. Ample parking and the security aspect of the gate being locked after 10pm is a good idea. Overall, cheap and cheerful but in my opinion best for lone travellers

The most uncomfortable bed in the world

IBIS budget Tours nord is friendly, clean and well managed. However the beds are incredibly uncomfortable with thin cheap mattresses that defy the ability to sleep. The bed is rigid, no springing and the result is torture.

We stayed one night on way from UK to Spain. Easy to locate , just outside Tours and off highway. Safe parking outside Perfect for one night stop , clean and comfortable. Choice of restaurants in the area within short walking distance as well as couple of minutes car drive. Excellent bakery/coffee shop couple of minutes drive away for breakfast if you want to avoid hotel prices breakfast. Hotel has taken all Covid precautions , masks worn in all public areas.
