Very very disappointing

We have stayed at the Sofitel on number occasions and have always been very satisfied. However this time we were disappointed over and over again. Had to change rooms 3 times First time because bed was broken. Second time because we were next to freight elevator and it was LOUD. And even after getting a 3rd room it was still bad. Bed broken AGAIN. It was finally somewhat fixed but since we only had a couple days we let it go. Now the manager my husband talked to after the second room was very helpful but never followed up so over all very unimpressed. Unfortunately we will no longer be staying at your hotel. Which is unfortunate since we love the location. Luckily there are a couple other hotels on the same street We have always told friends and family how much we love the Sofitel and how impressed we are with the staff and the quiet rooms. Now we have told them not to stay here It’s expensive to stay in New York which we accept and don’t mind paying a little extra when we get good service and have a nice place to sleep and relax after a day in the city. Also after housekeeping and or someone supposedly fixing bed in first room(bed was not fixed) there was a very strong smell of pot. Sincerely Cindy M.

However, I was unable to connect with you, and I regret not being able to have a personal follow up on the issues you experienced. I am pleased to share that we are undergoing exciting renovations in 2025 to enhance the comfort and quality of our rooms.
