This hotel is in a perfect location - right next to bus stop which drops you off from airport and going back to airport. Buses, trams also outside . Close to a lovely market and close to the bridge. Room was very clean and modern and breakfast was fab. Only downside was we couldn't get heating below 24 degrees and had to open window both nights which meant there was very small amount of noise. In hindsight should have called reception but during the night you just want to sleep. Also have a left luggage facility which is great when you have a later departure.

Booked through Jet2. Great location for sites. Great value . Bedrooms are basic but suits us for city break as we are out all the time. Comfy bed , TV, small shelving & wardrobe area table & 2 chairs. Bathroom has walk in shower & hairdryer. All fine for us . Limited room in bathroom but for 3 days we managed. Breakfast was lovely. Great selection of cereals, fruit, breads, pastries. Cooked selection too. It has its own pancake making machine . Fresh & hot on demand . Reception staff helpful & informative . We would happily stay again . Walking distance to all main sites of interest. Close by for tram system & Metro. Fantastic Irish Bar less than minute away. If you need more pillows just ask. Not sure why ppl comment in reviews. They provide kettles too . Staff are happy to oblige . Just ask! We had a great stay !

With trams buses,Maetro and even the Airport Express bus within 50 metres the location cannot be better. With over 65 year olds having free travel in all types of public transport all the sights are easily within reach The room was double the size of IBIS Amsterdam Centraal and breakfast before 7am is super cheap for all the sustinence you need.

Mixed feelings about this hotel for the following reasons: Pros- Central location. Most places are walkable ( within 30 mins) so long as you don’t have major mobility issues/ comorbidities. Plenty of restaraunts on your door step. Clean. Although the hotel is basic, the staff do a great job at cleaning the place. Cost. Reasonable price for location. Cons- Very basic. No fridge or tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. I guess you get what you pay for but I definitely felt the effect of this on a morning. Pillows are too soft ( only 1 spare pillow provided). Building works. We were unaware there were building works on site throughout the month of December so if you like to sleep in, this is not the place for you right now! We were woken very early by drilling / hammering etc. We had paid for late check out which was refunded because of the disturbance. However, the room key cards stopped working anyway and we had to ask to be let into our room three times on the final day!!! I will be raising a complaint with the hotel again. Overall, would I stay again? Yes. But only once building works are complete and if a few basic amenities are added to the rooms.

Despite slight misgivings during our last stay in May we stayed at the Ibis Centrum again in September. The location, ideal for restaurants, metro, the market hall, and the ease of getting to and from the airport are just unbeatable. The last time I wasn’t very happy with the breakfast, but seemed sufficiently improved to me. There were also sufficient staff members, so no waiting for cups or clean forks etc. Just one word of advice: if you fancy something from the breakfast buffet, have it there and then. I spotted something particularly tempting, but as my plate was already laden, and I didn’t want to waste food, I thought I’ll have it the next morning. Wrong decision, it wasn’t on offer again during our entire five night stay. We knew what to expect from the room: basic but clean and functional. And a nice view to the church in Kalvin Square. This time we were given a room with two single beds, and what I didn’t expect was that the mattress was just placed on a simple base, unsecured, and was sliding about so much that I often feared I’d fall out of the bed. Otherwise an ok stay, but I as an Accor member I’m contemplating upgrading to a Novotel or the Mercure across the road next time.
