ibis Styles Budapest City 3,5 estrelas

Ok for the price, breakfast was good. Hotel basic but if you want 5 star you need to pay 5 star. This is all we needed for our stay. Guests were making lots of noise no consideration for others. Hotel staff well the night receptionist we had on arrival was amazing he was so helpful. Also there was one on during our stay who was also helpful and polite shame I didn’t take their names. As for the rest of the staff they were sỗ grumpy and miserable and wouldn’t even make eye contact that also includes thé restaurant staff. Probably the most thing that lets this place down. Over all I would return due to price and location.

Lovely and cozy hotel in a very good location! We want to appreciate Greta, the receptionist, who upon arrival asked if we would like to have a quiet room and with the view to the river Danube! We’ve got a room 417! Such a great service! Thank You!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean and so cheerful with the yellow decor and the cycling theme throughout . Lovely warm room on this chilly weekend window open at night. We were at the back so no noise at all. Fabulous breakfast bread pastries cake. Meats fruit yogurt lovely scrambled egg and sausage fill your boots ! Loved the Ibis !

Had a great few days in Budapest which is a great city...the hotel was ideally placed for our gig on the A38 boat just across the Petofi Bridge...There was also the excellent Elesztohaz bar only 10 minutes walk away where the food & beer are fantastic...The hotel was a half hour walk into the city centre and with the lovely weather the walk wasn't a problem...The hotel was nice, staff friendly & helpful, free breakfast every morning which was nice...didn't have to check out until 12...The room had a balcony which was nice as it was very hot on our visit...the air con was noisy & the carpet was a bit grubby & needs changing were my only criticisms...Would very much recommend...Thanks

The hotel has a great location even if its not in the city center.It has beautiful view of the Dunabe river and the Citadella. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning or is not working (in more than one rooms) so you need to open the windows in order to sleep.If you do that and you have a room with the view it gets too noisy.Another minus is the carpet.Nice colors matching the yellow lemon on the wall but full of stains.The bathroom has its issues too.The soap, body wash and shampoo come in one…Nice water pressure though. Breakfast is average.The staff is very polite.Its a budjet hotel but I have been in better Ibis hotels.
