Le personnel est charmant, dévoué et l'acceuil chaleureux. Hôtel non récent avec des chambres immenses et du vieux mobilier, cependant tout est fonctionnel et bien entretenu. Les lits sont gigantesques et confortables, on s'y perd L'espace piscine manque d'animation. La déception principale est pointée sur le petit-déjeuner qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la chaine des hôtels Mercure. Très peu de fruits sont proposés, le buffet ne donne pas envie, les jus de fruits ne sont pas naturels et les viennoiseries sont guère attractives. Un réel effort devrait être fait sur ce service. Je recommande cet hôtel pour les séjours sans petit-déjeuner.

Le Mercure Chiang Mai est un réfrigérateur : les parties communes sont réfrigérées à l’excès. Le thermostat de l’air conditionné des chambres ne fonctionne pas. Tout est vétuste : les chambres, les salles de bain. L’offre du petit déjeuner est au mieux médiocre. Le personnel fait de son mieux mais le niveau d’anglais de la plupart est limité. Nous avons été surclassés en suite.

Je suis un habitué de cet hôtel agréable mais qui a besoin d'être rénové. Le petit déjeuner est moins bien qu'avant. Très déçu par la boisson d'accueil pour un titulaire de la carte Platinum, pas d'alcool, surprenant, partout ailleurs je bénéficie d'un cocktail avec alcool tu type Mai Thaï.
