The location is perfect, close to bus stops and to the most famous spots in the city, I didn't give a 5 for two reasons: (1) They didn't change the bed sheets in any of my 14 days stay, the room was always tidied up, bathroom towels replaced but the bed sheets were always the same (2) The breakfast was exactly the same on these 14 days, it was a good breakfast but I was surprised to see the exact same things every day besides that, the staff was very friendly and there was always seats available during breakfast, the hotel is very clean, I'd recommend this place for its location

Horrendous check in. No welcome

The previous time I stayed at this hotel I was extremely impressed so decided to return. This was a real mistake. The check-in was horrendous and as soon as I gave my name she asked for ID. We are British citizens and not used to being asked this, never mind the minute we walked through the door. I am an Accor silver member this is not the 'welcome ' I expect and certainly not usual. I showed her my Accor app on my phone with all my details but seemingly this didn't confirm who I am. She repeatedly barked that she needed ID. Why would I have all my details on my phone if I was not me? She did eventually accep my payment card as ID without thinking it could have been stolen with my phone!!! Illogical in the extreme! My husband asked if she was saying that we couldn't stay and she then accepted the payment card as ID What a distressing palaver which I didn't need as I was going to the hospital the next day for a new cancer therapy. I had wanted a relaxing evening but ended up truly distressed by the behaviour of this receptionist This was truly disappointing since our last visit was perfect The next night we stayed at another Accor hotel where the whol experience was special from the welcome onwards How can there be such a difference??

very nice hotel, rooms were nice, service was good, friendly helpful, the food in the hotel was a bit high with the price but the food was good so i’m not complaining. We found this amazing place to eat nearby too. The lambeth pier, very good. The bathrooms in the hotel were clean and the bed was pretty comfortable

So unimpressed by this hotel. I fully paid for my room in advance. I booked a king bed with a sofa bed. What I was given the first night was a double bed. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby at 12:00 am, yes I confirmed my check in early that day. I was told that I would be getting a taxi to another hotel they had booked for me. Nope, waited in the lobby for a taxi that never arrived. Then another couple arrived, I listened to that conversation and part of their party wasn't going to arrive until the next day. I was given that room. They overbooked the rooms. Horrible to leave customers waiting at that time of night for a room. The next day wasn't better. I spoke with the staff the next day letting them know about my situation the night before. They said my room would be ready that day. I asked do I need to wait, they said no. They said my room would be waiting for me when I returned. I get a call a 2 pm saying my room was ready. I said I was out, they said no problem. I get a phone call at 6 pm saying that if I don't return by 8 pm my fully paid room will be given away again. This hotel's customer service stinks. You need to know you may run the risk of losing your room. Where I come from, a fully paid hotel is never given away to another customer. BEWARE!!

This is a comfortable hotel with all the necessary amenities (including A/C and WiFi) and the location is superb! It is literally one bridge away from the Houses of Parliament! It can't get any better than that! The buffet breakfast was well worth the 21 GBP! And children eat for free! A special note about the staff - they were all very nice and helpful. Thank you!
