My husband and I have just arrived home from a three night stay with yourselves. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and were able to check in early as our room was ready. The room was well equipped with everything we needed, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. The added gift of chocolates and cake was a very kind and thoughtful gesture ! Every member of staff that we met greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for them. The two mornings that we had breakfast were lovely and just the thing to set us up for a day of sight-seeing! Thankyou all at Ibis Blackfriars for helping to make our stay in London such a lovely experience.! We will certainly be back! 😊

This hotel is very very basic for the price. It's the standard of a travelodge - no water, one pillow, very thin mattress, pod style bathroom. Extremely basic and could have been cleaner. The location is good though

Very thick air in the room. Must have window open all night. Extra bed asked but no delivery during whole stay. I stopped asking for it after few days. This hotel has no warmth or empathy. This is like fast food pitstop. No memories made here. :(

Awful customer service - I had booked a normal standard room and all they would offer me was an accessible room (which I didn’t want as I don’t like the wet rooms) or a room right outside of the lift. Despite me checking in early and there being lots of other rooms, I was told they couldn’t move me. The rooms are awful, the nearest place you can charge your phone is the other end of the room from your bed. All in all, the other hotels around here are much better value (Holiday Inn Express, Premier Inn). Don’t waste your money as the people who work here don’t really care whether you enjoy your stay here or not

Booked via Airmiles points for 5 nights breakfast included Checked in around 1PM and room was ready, Very cordial attendants! Room was smallish but well appointed. Double bed, wall mounted TV, modular bathroom which seemed prefab, but clean and larger shower than in Paris. View of nearby buildings was a bit bland. The breakfast was top notch, but did not change at all during the 5 mornings. Scrambled eggs, sausage, tomatoes, mushroom, beans, cheeses, cold cuts, toaster for bread, coffee and juice, as well as yogurts. Located a few blocks from Southwark tube, this place is very convenient for any London visit. Would come back
