Good location. Good looking hotel entrance. Generally speaking good facilities all around. Average room size and breakfast. Staff members were ok. Location is good as it is close to couple of tube stations. There is room for improvement for quality of breakfast and room decor. Thanks.

Had a decent stay at Ibis Blackfriars recently. The room was clean & comfortable, fairly basic as you would expect. The breakfast was quite good. If you’re looking for a budget hotel in this area, I’d probably recommend the Travelodge Southwark over here. It was fine though I had no complaints.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms basic, same as all Ibis. Sound proofing not great. Good location, handy for trains etc. Restaurant limited if you have any dietary needs. I’ve had mushroom siuo this evening : I’m not convinced it didn’t come out of a tin. Very familiar flavour….

“Disappointing Stay with Missing Basic Amenities”

Disappointed with my recent stay. Basic amenities like slippers, bathrobes, bottled water, and a mini-fridge were missing, which I expect as standard in most hotels. When I brought this up, the staff’s response was dismissive, and management didn’t address my concerns. Not the level of service I anticipated.

Good base for work, very close to Southwark Underground - walkable from Waterloo too. Welcoming staff and the bar/restaurant was buzzing. Modern, bright room with decent bed & shower. Small gripe that the funky "shelving" set-up was too far away from the plug socket which meant that you have to put the kettle on the floor. The room hairdryer didn't work but was swiftly replaced.
