I got email for 2 rooms and paid for this and got confirmation from accor. However when i arrive to hotel at night 1:00, recepton told that they not see reerevation from system and it takes 30 min wait until they solve it.

PROS: 1. Can walk directly to the beach from your room. We were across the road, so it was about a 6-7 minute walk to the beach. There was a super pleasant young man named Mohammed who stopped traffic for you each time you had to cross the road. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face. 2. Food at the beachside restaurant was delicious! Salad super fresh, better than my mom’s pot roast, boiled fish, eggs to,order, pastries and excellent service. It was very quiet while we were there, so we never had hardly any queues when getting food. I think the all you can eat option is the best since some of the non-hotel restaurants down the walk way were not that good. 3. Super friendly staff - Ahmed at the front desk, Muhammed at the cross walk, Fahid and Taha in the restaurant, all the security guards, servers, chefs and cooks in the restaurant, and the driver to and from the airport were super friendly. They really tried to make our visit memorable. 4. Beachfront - you have to bring a snorkel and experience the hundreds maybe thousands of colorful fish right off the beach. You essentially float in the water looking down and they are right there in the coral. Our first experience and it was amazing! There are umbrellas, beach towels, and lounge chairs. Once again it was NOT busy so we had no issue getting a seat. Not sure what it looks like at peak times. CONS: 1. Did not like the high pressure sales guy walking up and down the beach trying to sell me stuff. He would not take no for an answer. 2. WIFI common area only - none in your room unless you are willing to pay more. We did not buy it so I cannot comment on its effectiveness. After reading the website over again, I did see that they do mention this, but only after you click a link that discusses the wifi in general. Kind of sneaky. 3. Don’t flush the toilet paper - ALL TOILET PAPER. not sure if this is resort wide or just in our section we were staying. I cannot find notice of this anywhere on the hotel website. I mean I get it if it’s old plumbing, but to surprise people with this once they get there? Kind of gross and shady. They will clean your room every day, but if you have a medical condition this might be an issue for you. TIPS - ALOT of tipping money in smaller denominations like 10, 20 and 50 EGY. Getting smaller bills on arrival is tough at best. 50 Egyptian Pounds= $2.75 US. These workers do not make a high wage and any little bit helps. Frustrating when you want to tip and can’t

The Hotel is Very Clean - Swimming Pools are more than perfect and the Staff is very helpful and Professional and Friendly Room was really amazing and the atmosphere was more than perfect We really enjoyed the trip - The ONLY Problem the Mattress is NOT up to the Standard and causes pain the back IF going to Sharm el Sheikh I am highly recommending Novotel Sharm El Sheikh

Best hospitality hotel in sharm, beautiful beach, sea view room , creative staff, delicious food , animation team do best during the day , playing volleyball ,yoga , water sports , during night amazing show, songs ,dance. All drinks available.

I was in Novotel Palm in 2012 the last time. I had got very warm memories about it that is why it was chosen again in 2021.. Now it is not more a 5* hotel, it is 3*+ maximum. The problem with the management of the hotel must be definitely solved. It is very hard to see the dying of a former very good hotel. The beach is dirty, the staff do not clean it at all. Sunbeds are very ancient, mattresses are dirty and also very old. The beach is very crowded. The neighboring beaches are much better (Fayrous beach, for example, very spacious, with new sunbeds). The guardians often ask a room number, a reason and purpose are not clear at all. Showers on the beach and near the swimming pool have a very cold water, it is not comfortable in December at all. Only one of tree swimming pools is heated(the one in the Novotel beach wing), there is no warm swimming pool in the Palm wing (the small one in the upper part of the hotel was always heated when we came last times in november-december). The restaurant also needs to be improved. The food is no more tasty as it was before. The wine is diluted with the water for 50% and is offered at the price of about usd 8 for a glass. I have never had such a wine at such price in my life, very funny experience:) There are other points to be mentioned, but I am already really tired, I think it is enough to see the situation. It is not only my opinion about the today hotel level, I talked to other guests and they were also completely disappointed. The only positive moments of the stay are the guys at the reception, very kind and helpful, a very pleasant and also very kind driver of a golf car. And of course, the sea, corals and fishes, they are still perfect and nobody managed to spoil them.
