Wij gebruiken dit hotel al enkele jaren voor onze terugweg naar huis. Voor ons is dit hotel prima gelegen. Er zijn eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Het hotel zelf heeft rustige uitziende kamers en het ontbijt is prima.

The hotel overall was good, room alright, great breakfast. But what really made our stay was the staff’s service; our car battery was accidentally drained during the night, but the staff quickly pulled out jump cables, an employee’s car and helped us to start our car. I don’t believe this was in anyone’s job description, but this kind of can-do attitude and beyond ordinary service distinguishes great hotels from good ones.

It was a short but pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, nothing to complain about in that regard, but it’s definitely not worth three stars. Like so many Accor hotels, it’s in serious need of renovation. Everything is very old and run-down. For example, I’m currently staying at an Ibis Styles in Barcelona, and it’s absolutely beautiful. So it is possible! Maybe Accor should consider investing for a few years instead of just focusing on profit.
