Philip P Friends getaway - Ulasan TripAdvisor tersertifikasi

Visited with a group of 10 Welsh fans for Rugby World Cup. Stayed three nights. Hotel was excellent value with great location, 10 minutes walk to old town but with plenty of local bars and restaurants even closer. Staff were really pleasant and helpful both before and during our stay. Bravo Novotel. Merci beaucoup. Diolch yn fawr.

The hotel is in a very good location. You may walk around the hotel and you don’t need a car. I loved the park we went to and saw the churches. As for the hotel it is very clean and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner there. The wifi ok. The staff very friendly

The Hotel and staff overall was very good. The staff customer service skills are out of this world. Rooms do look a bit tired. Word of advice don't be put off by bringing your own pillow if possible as the pillows in the Hotel are very flimsy and don't support your neck.

Actually this is our last night in this hotel for hellfest but after stayed in Pullman Tour Paris and Hyatt group in Venice, we fell this hotel is not at their standard. The 1st weekend was ok with ok room but since we arrived after midnight there is no room service, they did not clean the room when we put the housekeeping sign and their housekeeping only available until 2pm. Then now on our 2nd weekend, we are greeted very well by the morning shift cause he still remember us from last weekend, but we got the room 521 and it was dirty especially the window area where there's spider nest with spider of course. compare to previous room there is no plug on the bed side and no soap. Then after days we came back very late cause of hellfest and no one ask us on our room number until last night one of their staff (dark color) asked our room number and we mentioned but it took him more than 5 minutes to check. We are so angry cause it's 4am and just want to go to our room to sleep. We did not wait for him and his reason because he did not see us before and while waiting for elevator, 4 white guys came in and he did not asked them anything. So being asian does matter in this hotel. No hospitality what so ever, so you need to do some re training for him. Maybe because he always on the late shift but being friendly should not be taught when your in hospitality industry. When the review could be ok but he really made our stay very not enjoyable. Aside of that all the morning/afternoon shifts are very welcome and helpful.

My first time in Novotel and last. We stayed 5 nights during Hellfest and we had the hotel booked for over a year. On arrival we were asked to pay a deposit of 800 euros and that was a discount as it should be 900. When we left we had to pay nearly 100 euros more than what was mentioned on booking.com. We received only one water on arrival and another day even though we were there 5 nights and we were two people. The hand wash finished after one night and was never refilled. This weekend the temperatures were around 40 degrees and we were given a room with faulty aircon. We were in 2 stars hotels with service way beyond this. As soon as we arrived we were scared we would not have a hotel to stay in and we had booked over a year before. Unnacceptable. The locker had an error at a point and even though the staff quickly sorted it out, it gave us a panic attack as our passports etc were there. We never had an apology, on the opposite we were invited to cancel in the most packed weekend of the year (thank you!) and were overcharged. They charged us breakfasts we never had and some tax never mentioned on the booking. The experience  was really not worth the price and I will never chose Novotel again.
