This is a lovely old hotel in the center of historic Hanoi. There are entrances on two different streets ; one side very modern and gorgeous; one side smaller and more historic. Try to get a room in the new side if possible as they appear to be larger. We were in the old side and had a nice view from the room with everything we needed but it was a bit small. The restaurant is gorgeous and looks like it was just completed. We were on an Abercrombie and Kent tour and had a private room for our dinner that was very well done and enjoyed the food. The best area is the pool where you can sit outside and have breakfast. Excellent service and lots of buffet options to satisfy every taste. It’s a little oasis in the middle of a busy city. Many things are walkable. Just be careful crossing the streets as the scooters are abundant and fearless. The doorman stopped traffic for us to try a restaurant around the corner that was amazing.

Our server in the restaurant Nguyen Bao was fabulous. She was engaging, well informed and eager to make our experience extraordinary! I highly recommend the hotel and ask to have Bao serve you! The service was impeccable and the food quality was great.

We spent 4 days there and we loved our stay. A perfect area of Hanoi for visiting the town. Our room in the "old" french part was fantastic, breakfast very excellent, best service from all the people in the hotel. Top of the world! Thank you so much for these wonderful 4 days.

This is an amazing and very beautiful hotel in the city of Hanoi within walking distance to many attractions in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, not to mention the cocktail session with superb wines and foods. A very attentive, friendly and high standard of service. What an experience!

The Hotel is located in the center of busy Hanoi, but you would not know it because inside it is quiet and so comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the history behind the hotel is really interesting. Many thanks to Stella and Tui who made our stay particularly wonderful and comfortable.
